Female needing urgent advise about my citroen saxo brakes?
i have been told that the reason my rear N/S brake is sticking is because there is a rubber thing missing on the caliper piston, the bloke did show me when he took my wheel off but i cant remember what he called it exactly. Anyway because this rubber bit is missing the piston part of the caliper has collected dust and other crap which is stopping it fully retracting when i take my foot off the brake. He then told me to repair this i would need a complete new caliper at a cost of 拢180, but since then i have been told that i shouldnt need a new brake caliper to sort out the problem because calipers can be overhauled and the rubber part most probably could be purchased from a dealer, Was the garage trying it on because im a female or will i really need to replace the whole caliper just because of this small rubber thing. Please help, my mot is due and it wont pass with these defective brakes, because today the brake has started grinding so there must be no lining left on the pads.Female needing urgent advise about my citroen saxo brakes?
sounds like pads there is no lining left on pads.that will have to be done for the mot.re the caliper that rubber seal is called a rubber boot for the piston.it wont retract if its full of dust and stuff.go to dealer see if they can sell you a boot.though they are usually in set .if they cant get you one a new calipers an option.180 quids about right.but shop around.try to get a boot first though.Female needing urgent advise about my citroen saxo brakes?
could i send you a photo of a caliper which points out the actual part thats missing, then i will know for sure that i do not need a new caliper and that the particular rubber in question can be purchased and added for my car to pass its mot on the 18th of this month, cheers, debs ;0)
Go to another garage and ask their advice, not all mechanicsare going to try and rip you off cos your a woman.
Ask some other women who you know, where they taken their cars.
well they have quoted about right to make the job easyer for them you could get a second hand caliper from a scrap yard at a third the price of a new one but this will still have to be changed for the old one and the brakes bleeding garages are out to make money if you suspect them of unfair work contact trading standards and they will help you every council has a trading standards devision

don't believe them the whole calliper does not need replacing. a calliper overhaul kit can be bought. the piston can be freed as long as the correct lubricant is used (any decent mechanic would know this). If you don't use your car every day the grating could be rust on the discs.If you do use it every day get it checked soon because if they are worn down the pads need changing before they ruin the discs. I hate it when people get robbed by garages it gets all us mechanics a bad name. In fact if you lived close enough to me I would fix it for the price of the parts!!!
Brake callipers can be overhauled and seals replaced, however, unless you know somebody who knows how to do it for you, you'll probably find the cost will be about the same as fitting a new calliper due to the labour charges.moisturiser cream

be allergies too. She is 5 months old. Gray with black tiger stripes. She sneezes quite a bit. At least 3-4 x a day. But her eyes aren't filled with puss and she doesn't seem to have any problems breathing. Also her nose looks clear.

NO! Do you freak out every time you sneeze cuz you think you have a cold, even thou your nose isnt running? no..everyone sneezes, your cat is fine.
this sounds like a common case of uppper respitory infection it wont cost alot to get it fixed but if you dont take her to see a vet she could die so take her asap
It could definitely be allergies. My kitten had URI's for nearly a month. He was a shelter kitty and he caught it there. After they cleared up, he continued to sneeze several times a day, usually in the morning -- just like me.

Oh, and I started dusting the wood floors more often since he sniffed up any lint, dirt, cat hair, etc. during his explorations.
Allergies ,if it is just sneezing I wouldn't worry she will be fine. If you are worried try some baby Benadryl. Give it by weight.
If she has no eye or nasal discharge, it's probably allergies. Strange as it sounds there are cats with hay fever, or maybe the air in your house is too dry. I'd run her to the vet just to make sure, though.

If some of those symptoms are there, I would call a vet and explain and get advice whether it should be taken in, sneezing is very normal, my cats do it all the time. If its excessive, then tell the vet that as well. If the cat is an outdoor cat, then I would definitely take it to the vet, especially if it hasn't got any needles.
Cats don't get colds. The cold virus is human-specific. How about taking this kitten to a vet to be checked out? It sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection that will not go away without antibiotics. And really - how can anyone here magically tell if she's sick or she's allergic to something? That's what VETS are for.

It's easy. You need to simply cut out the distractions. If you like to do your homework on your computer, it'll never work out, because you'll be tempted to check your myspace account, your email, and all the fun stuff people do on the net. If you try to do your homework in a room with a television, the tv is going to grab your attention.
Let's put it this way. School work is a little on the dull side, and sometimes it's a pain to have to do homework. Your brain is going to find every excuse it can to go do something more entertaining. It's hard to focus.
You need to go to an environment that will limit the distractions . You need a quiet office or desk area... no tv, no radio, no internet, no video games, and close the curtains, because looking outside is a big time waster. It's hard to find an environment like this, which is why the library is such a cool place to go. The library is quiet, and has plenty of desks to study from. Spend a good hour in a library and you'll accomplish more in that hour than an entire week at home.
Sometimes it's helpful to bring a friend to the library, although some friends can be a distraction, so choose wisely.I am finding it difficult to concentrate while studying. Also advise me how to increase my memory power?
dont eat meat.It is very difficult to concentrate on studies.if you constanly eat meat. Eat ladys finger. to increase your memory power.and also solve sudoku puzzles daily it will really help you to increase your memory power.
If I cannot get interested in or remember anything of a study it is time to..... become OBCESSED with it. All known time from wake to sleep will be spent going over material, reviewing it in my head during breaks, and getting back to it quick if I'm distracted. I take time out for treat time and sleeping. Hobbies are on hold until it clicks with me.
There is a l0t of solutions you could study with high voice this helps a lot . Also you could make a paper with most important idea in each sentence or paragraph . You have to eat well during exams that make you more effective . There is an idea to make some records of what r u studying if it need to be learned by heart you could make a record and listen to it a lot until you study by heart .You could increase you memory power buy doing tests when you r walking or driving or any thing like trying to remember the numbers of a car you have pass through it from 1 min. that's really works .

Also, at that age the dog is still to young to have any sort of genetic health certifications (OFA/CERF), so you could be passing along genetic health problems.

Press the power button halfway and this will put your computer in the ';sleep'; mode. However, before doing this, make sure you ';password enable'; your laptop so that it requires a password when it boots up or it ';wakes up'; from standby/sleep mode. Without typing the appropriate password, the keyboard and mouse pad are both disabled.
