This should fix your problem :-)My computer will not shut down I have to turn off at the mains each time please can you advise me what to do?
Try this: Right click on your desktop, a popup will appear. highlight properties and left click. Click on the screensaver tab. Look for the POWER button and click on it. The Power option properties will now be in the window. Click on ADVANCED. At the bottom of the window it will show: ';When I press the power button on my computer:'; click on the pull down button. check to see what setting is right for you. Also try the Sleep Button and do the same for whatever is best suited for you. If neither of these screens work for you then go to: Start, control panel, power options, advanced and pull the menu button down to whatever you desire. If these do not help then you may have to do what others suggested if software has been recently added. My computer will not shut down I have to turn off at the mains each time please can you advise me what to do?
Have it reformatted and install your os again.
If you have a system restore set up, you can try that. Go to start, accessories, system tools, system restore, choose a date thats highlighted. Any programs you have installed between now and the chosen date will no longer work and you would need to update your antivirus again, but it might work.
get a legit version of windows. that happened to me. a copy of ma mates xp worked a treat.
Its because of virus. Run your anti virus and check for virus. and then delete it . then everything will work good.
there is some instability of your OS... Some apps or components are crushed during session and they are not terminated by OS... try to unistall latest installed programs, or find apps who helps maintaining your registry... e.g. REGISTRY MECHANIC
also you can roll back to restore point that you are sure your computer worked normally but you loose apps installed after that date...
Also think about reinstalling your OS.
Re-install your operating system
Firstly - rather than turining off at the mains, just hold down the power button on your computer for about 5 to 10 seconds and it will switch off. However, that doesn't really solve the problem.
Make sure you give it enough time to switch off on its own after you have clicked on Shutdown before resorting to switching off at the mains.
To identify why its taking so long is a matter of trial and error and can take a while to diagnose, as you need to identify the program causing the problem.
When you are in WIndows go to Start, select Run, then type msconfig and hit enter. This will give you a list of everyhting that runs when your computer starts up. Deselect everything, roboot and then shutdown - is it still slow? If not, it shows that one of the things you have deselected is the problem.
Now re-enable SOME (say half) of the processes, reboot, then shutdown. Has the slowness returned? If so, its one of the things you just re-enabled. If not, its in the half you didnt re-enable. Keep enabling a few more at a time to narrow it down to the actual program causing the problem.
Once you've identified the culprit, it'll be easier to find a solution.
buy a new PC......or leave it on
if you got windows washer on your computer just remove it or if you see is there any programmer start up when you shut down your PC if so then remove that programmer
Some virus might have attacked your system Try to remove the same otherwise you have to replace your HDD with new one
Windows again...
Mine did this yesterday and it was because i had a remote Internet cable, I unplugged my Internet cable then turned off the computer, but an error accrued when i unplugged the cable first. So I had to make sure the error message was dealt with, then it eventually shut down. Did all that actually make sense to you, cause it didn't to me.
I had this problem and it occured not long affter I had downloaded some new software off the net. if you have down loaded something recently I would recommend removing it if at all possible and see what happens. I think mine happened after I upgraded something.
Get an extension lead to make it easier to switch off.
reinstall or upgrade the operating system
I suggest you re-install the operating system or you should use the anti-virus software to check your computer

Why does my computer advise against installing active x? what are the dangers and how do i avoid them ?
Just say ';no'; to Active X. It has security holes so big in it you could drive a Mack Truck through them. Various melicous software, like spyware, can use Active X to install themselves on your computer via a web page. There is very little legitimate use of Active X, most of which is done much better in Java. Why does my computer advise against installing active x? what are the dangers and how do i avoid them ?
Active X is used in various spywares and runs in Internet Explorer. To avoid Active X problems, use Firefox which does not support it. I have found very few occasions where Active X is actually needed legitimately. You should have your IE settings to not allow activeX installation except with your approval and then you should know for sure that you need it (such as with windows update)

The tile adhesive i am trying to get of my floor is black and gets sticky when heated. Any advise....?
Well when you said black and sticky I instantly went back to childhood and thought of that ugly old tile (VCT) in my parents house..LOL Yes it's a messy job I'll agree. It would be easier to just cover it up and move on but your talking some added expense, more labor and time consuming. I'm going to stick with the chemical adhesive removers. I wish I knew if it was on concrete or wood but you just brush a semi-paste chemical on and let it sit. Adhesive gets very slick and slimy, scrape it up with putty / broad knife (6-12inch wide) wash with hot water a few times and throw your brush away!!! I suggest wearing knee pads and covering the toes of an old pair of shoes with tape....oh yeah and gloves. I just don't think the added height of a new substrate will benefit you if you don't have too. Hope all these suggestions help!!! Good Luck! The tile adhesive i am trying to get of my floor is black and gets sticky when heated. Any advise....?
Many years ago there was a black adhesive used for laying tiles and vinyl flooring. I have encountered it in older (older than 25 yrs) homes. The best way to deal with it is cover it up!. Use a 1/4'; smooth finish plywood and then put your new flooring on top. If you are trying to remove it so that you can use the flooring underneath maybe old hardwood planks - try getting your refinisher out to take a look maybe able to use a rougher sanding paper to sand it off if it isnt asbestos related! GOOD LUCKThe tile adhesive i am trying to get of my floor is black and gets sticky when heated. Any advise....?
The old adhesive is called Cutback, it is an asphalt (tar) product and does not contain asbestos. It is no longer made, replaced by more environmentally friendly products. I have spread barrels of it.
It is obviously very hard to remove, and methods that would work to remove it would also be hazardous. It will not hurt to leave it, and will be a lot less costly overall if you do.
Install a 1/4'; underlayment board right over it, and go with the new floor. Any lumberyard can provide it, just be sure they know it's for floor use.
After just answering your other related question, I'm disappointed that anyone would install tile that way, unless it's vinyl tile. I suggest forget scraping. Forget alcohol and heat guns. Install new substrate and move on. I did see someone previously say 1/4 inch. I'd advise against anything less than 1/2 inch.

That old black adhesive might very well contain asbestos. Do not scrape or sand it. It is better to cover over it with Hardi-backer or a similar cement underlayment. Then tile away.
Stop using this now!!!! You are using a product for vinyl flooring tiles. Remove it as best you can, and get either tile mastic or thin set mortar. All home imp. stores should carry these premixed. Also, use a cement backer of some kind. Never apply tile on wood.
Brian d could be right the part you need to know is if your tiles are 9 x 9 inch or 12 x 12, if they are 9 x 9 the adhesive is made with asbestos. You should stop what you are doing and cover it with a Luann, or use a levelastic and cover the entire area.
Good Luck

OH WOULD U JUST ASK HIM?! everything is fine!!!!I wanted to ask my guy friend to sadies, read it and advise?
his friends are gonna make fun of him becuz theyre immature and probably jealous hahah
so whocares!!
just ask him!!
=)
his friends are just immature its all good, just keep it low key so u dont give him a reason to be mad at you.
If the conversation above was in front of his buds, then yes - he is ';protecting his cool.'; BUT, if you asked him one one one and he is still ';too cool,'; I question his interest.
I dunno if ya'll have a history or connection, but if above happened one on one, and he gave that remark; as a dude I would recommend one more one on one request - and to be honest, if he is looking for you to get one a knee or in any way ';humiliate'; yourself..F-him.
One more ask, one on one - keep it sincere. You are not looking for cool points, just a fun date - so should he.
You seem to have your head on your shoulders, and if he is too self absorbed to recognize - he can watch you dance with someone else!!old lipstick

Since you are web savvyy I would suggest you get on the web and look up AA Alcohol Anonymous and they can direct you to a group that can give you assistance. I am perplexed how you can afford to do all these drugs and not work? Please someone pleasee give me advise and help
Consider a residential treatment, this is for your own good, the people there can help you alleviate addiction in you.
Wow..if you can whip this at 16...then you will be set for life...
You have great clarity.
your best friend did the right thing...are they worth losing?
You know the right answers...just do it..
NIKE.
Go see a doctor and tell him exactly what you said right there.. they'll know the proper ways to help you with the drug and self-esteem issues. Good luck..
Oh wow, what a story. There is definitely a drug treatment center literally in every area of the country. One of the best places to go is the Mental Health facility in your area. Actually, I would make a phone call to them and tell them that you are very young and need help in stopping drug use. They will give you the name of a program to help you. There is also Narcotics Anonymous and I would email them and find someone in your area. Sounds like you are definitely ready to do this and just need a little outside encouragement. You are a very, very wise kid. Who know a 16 year old could be this smart when it came to stopping drugs? Wow, I really do admire you. I was an idiot when I was 16. Sounds like you know that you have your whole life ahead of you and you want to live it sober.
superstar,
you might not want to hear this ,but the only thing to really change you is JESUS CHRIST.When i was younger i was into the whole drug thing ,I was into coke, weed and a lot of other stuff.I wasas invited to church by my parents who had recently started that night i gave my life to GOD,this was not easy for me because of all the things i was doing..
but he took the cravings frome andnd turned my life around.this was not a decision but a commitment on my part to do as the bible says and stay in his will.
Find yourself a GOD fearing church in your area and let GOD handle your problemdon'tnt hold back let him have control you will be amazed at the change if you need someone to talk to send me an email
You obviously are aware of your problem which is a good sign. You can't change what you don't acknowledge. I am almost 50 and was into drugs BIG TIME earlier in life so I am at least somewhat familiar with your position. I would recommend Narcotics Anonymous. The phone number is in the white and yellow pages phone books. It's a 12 step program run by recovering addicts. They have been there so can relate to your situation without judging you. It's also free. No dues or membership fees. It really is free. I personally got sick and tired of being sick and tired. Sounds cliche, but it's sooooo true. In NA you will find support, companionship, unconditional love, and most everything to help you get straight. But it's a lot of work. You have to really want to get clean. And please be prepared to get slaughtered on this forum. There are many good people here, but just as many who will revel in ridiculing you and expressing their ill will towards you. Please just IGNORE these IDIOTS. In my opinion, they are more screwed up than you or me. We have a problem that we are trying to fix. These peoples' lives are so pathetic that they get off on our misery. If you would like some support, go to my profile, and e-mail me. I assure you I am not some internet sicko looking for victims. I worked with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents and children for over 14 years and am on this forum to offer my support and assistance. I can give you all of the info you need to check me out so you know that you are safe. You have a long life ahead of you and it's your choice whether it's a happy productive one, or a miserable failure. I hated the fact that the drugs controlled me. Other people say ';It's not my fault. It's the drugs. They have taken control.'; But we can't say that. Obviously we consciously know that everytime we do them, we are committing slow painful suicide. And it not only effects us. All of the people in our lives pay for our bad choices. I don't believe that addiction is a disease. A disease is something we contract through no intention of our own. Drug abuse is a choice. I understand that once addicted, the right choice is more difficult, sometimes impossible, to make. You need some tools to fix this. Just like fixing a broken down car. You gotta have tools. And sometimes the problem is beyond our ability to fix on our own so we need a mechanic or an instruction book. That's what NA is to me. An instruction book with live support, 24/7. Just like every other aspect of life, it's all a series of choices. If my life sucks, I got nowhere to look but in the mirror. That's where the answers lie. There are contributing factors but we can't afford to blame our addiction on them. They helped us choose substance abuse but won't help us quit. They will only drive us deeper into oblivion until it's too late. Addiction really isn't the problem. It's a symptom. It's a warning that something is seriously wrong in our lives. But with will power and support we can deal with this and begin to think clearly again. Giving us the ability to figure out the ';why';. You can get clean without knowing why you started using. Then, when your brain clears, you can begin to figure out the ';why';, enabling you to much easier resist the temptation to use again. It's not as complicated as it seems. Ya just gotta want it, then put the energy you use to find and do the drugs into getting free of them. And make no mistake. Alcohol IS a drug. Only difference is, it's legal. (At 21 anyways) This is a progressive thing. It will only get worse. You won't wake up one day and just feel better. Quite the opposite actually. Please know this. We who are in recovery love you and support your recovery unconditionally. We reach out to others because we genuinely care, and in doing so, help our chance of staying clean. ';The cure for self is others.'; I have a toll free # you can call to find a local chapter anywhere in the continental US. If you are outside the US they can give you the info to find resources where you live. 1-800-479-0062. If you had to open a savings account, which bank would you advise and why?
Standard bank
The service is brilliant.
But try Capitec Bank
They offer the highest interest rate 10%pa.
***
P.S don't worry the bank is a subsidairy of Capitec which is listed in the JSE.If you had to open a savings account, which bank would you advise and why?
go to a credit union,,,you'll be an ownerIf you had to open a savings account, which bank would you advise and why?
I'm with Standard Bank and I've never had any complaints.
I have a savings account, a credit card and an investment account with them. The service have been really good and the consultant that helped me when I purchased my car was great and made some good suggestions on saving me a couple of rand each month. If the account is for saving - I would suggest saving in your credit card account as the interest rates are more competitive.
National Westminster.
Well, your money is less likely to devalue.
You will always have access to it no matter what country you are in. ( no exchange control )
It will be outside SA when you leave.
Nedbank! Cause I like green.
fnb.
they're really nice to me cause i owe them tons of money.
I'd agree with the previous answer of ING Direct. You have 24/7 access to your account and transfers are easily and quickly performed. I've not had a problem with them ever.
Depends what you need, really.
The rates are almost the same so dont let that affect your choice.
Also see at which bank your employer banks because then your money will be immediately available (even on public holidays etc)
Standard Bank - Standard product offerings, service can be horrendous sometimes, so much problems with their internet banking and few actually know what they talking about. The queues can be long as most people bank here. They also have great offerings for under 25's.
First National Bank - very versatile product offering.Queues can be long Very trendy keeps up to-date with latest developments to be more innovative. Can find somebody who knows something.
ABSA - more for the older consumer with pensioner's lines etc. internet banking good.
Nedbank - shorter queues, friendly atmosphere, internet banking good. can be small amount more expensive.
All the South African banks are a disgrace, they are greedy corrupt organisations only interested in milking every last penny from the average working class South African.
It makes no difference which you choose, service levels and excessive fees are equally bad accross the board.
Try a cash safe under your bed.
Given that the service fee are more or less the same and that the service levels are also similar - I'd go to Nedbank because it has shorter queues!!!!
I'd open a savings account on the internet with either ING or HSBC. They offer very competitive interest rates on savings accounts.
Absa or First National i have accounts at both and their service is good and the interest rate is also compatible
The service is brilliant.
But try Capitec Bank
They offer the highest interest rate 10%pa.

Is president Obama getting good advise?
we are in an economic meltdown....our people are getting homeless...Iraq cost 10 million dolars a month, Afghanistan maybe a lot more..now President Obama is about to throw good money after bad by sending more troops into Afghanistan.....we should get out of both countries now....and take care of our own first.....Is president Obama getting good advise?

He needs an economist with only one hand!
All of those morons are never sure of what to do they always say: '; on one hand'; and then ';on the other hand';
You have to have a rational mind to process good from bad, in other words, we are all screwed for 4 years.

i have recently moved to calgary canada from another country , already had orthodontic treatment going on for last 2-3 years .I dont know what doctor to go to in Calgary and what would be the approximate cost of getting braces hereNeed to continue my orthodontic treatment in new place can some one advise.?
You need to get a letter from your old dr stating where in treatment you are and what wires you in and give this to an orthodontist in your area, if you cant get this, just go to the orthodontist and explain your story, they will examine you and then give you a cost to finish the case

its sad if a man has 2 live off his girl....REALLY sad....make your own money..so when she leaves u(for living off HER money) u wont be completely broke
wow, this is sad. Why don't YOU go out and get a job that pays good then marry someone.
Trust me, you're going to have a VERY hard time finding a wealthy woman under the age of 50 who will marry someone who's a freeloader.
Oh dear dear...you will find that MONEY doesn't buy you happiness...been there; done that. Money is only a vessel to get you where you want (or think you want) to be. Try this: get yourself a wonderful job that you totally LOVE and when you least expect it you'll find ';the one'; - I promise.
what man lives off a women... never that. i get my cash.
Get a job!!!!
Good luck buddy, I've been living with those two options for 20 years and it has gotten me nowhere. I suggest you work really hard towards some type of college degree. ;-)

So there are these girls at school who think they run it. Like if you sit where they want to sit they will cuss you out. At first it didn't bother me because they never said anything to me. But one day I found out that they were talking really bad about me. But the thing is I am really really strong and muscular and I have an easy temper and I am afraid I will get so mad I will hurt them bad. What can I do to calm myself? Like at that moment?School Trouble i need some advise?

Any lawyers on here that can give advise?
do any lawyers or law student's, paralegals ever come here? if yes i need to ask a legal question. thanksAny lawyers on here that can give advise?
THE best way to find a lawyer is by word of mouth. Ask your: family, friends, coworkers, anyone you might know in the same situation, etc.
OR
Call your local (usually county) bar association. Ask for names of attorneys that handle your type of matter. (If money is a BIG problem, you could also ask for the phone number of your local LegalAid office. - the attorneys at LegalAid are ';real'; attorneys, but sometimes in the field of Law, how much you are willing to pay does affect the quality you get.)
When you call the law office(s), insist on speaking with the Lawyer. Do not tell all the little details of your matter to the Secretary - save the details for the Attorney. When you get the Lawyer on the phone line, ask him/her:
-Do they give FREE, initial consultations? (most do, but not all - you have to ask, don't assume)
- How much do they charge?
- Could you make payments on your account?
-Can they help you? OR Refer you to someone who can help you?
Good luck.
(This is based on my knowledge, information, belief, and life experiences. This was intended as personal opinion, and not intended to be used as legal advice. Seeking advice over the Internet is not a good idea - the field of Law is too complex for that. Please be careful and do your research.)

Is IPOP a place u would advise?
hi! i am very new to the entertainment industry. and very new to easily getting scammed. please tell me if IPOP is a scam or not. and feel free to tell your story. Is IPOP a place u would advise?
IF you google IPOP SCAM it tells you all about it. I would tell you myself but that would take too much time. Yes IPOP is a scam and I would not advise it. IPOP is affiliated with John Robert Powers which is also a known scam. Believe me. Don't waste thousand of dollars on that, just look for other showcases and if your unsure of them, ask.
Good LUckIs IPOP a place u would advise?
IPOP is very expensive and tends to pick the pretty people with a lot of money. You are put through training programs and led to believe that if you go through with it you will end up on Disney channel. Also many go on to not even making it on T.V.. So many end up disappointed that they spent all this money not to make it on T.V.. Also I have heard from many people that if you put IPOP on your resume people wont take you seriously. SO, no I do not advise going through IPOP, if you want some more experience and acting classes go to acting for film classes near you that are not near as expensive and tend to help you more in the long run.
GOOD LUCK!!!old lipstick

Advise on being a vegitarian, how to and support!!?
Ok i know this question has been asked but i wanted to ask for myself really.
I have wanted to become a vegitarian for a long time now but too afraid to do it.
I worry i will miss meat and look an idiot, i dont think i eat that much meat and i hate handling it it makes me feel sick.
I think people will think me a hypercrit due to i grew up in the countryside and animals were to eat and people think me rude if i go for a meal and i wont eat meat.
I have not seen any video of animals being killed as i have seen it all before, i am not happy at how it is done but i accept that people do eat meat and enjoy it. I went to college last October and ate alot of vegitarian food and boy i loved it.
Does it cost more if you are the only vegi in a house of 4?
What reaction did you get when you all of a sudden went veggi?
How should i do this if i decde to do it??
I know this will do me good not only for me but as you say our fury friends.
But i feel such a hypercrit though, advice pleaseAdvise on being a vegitarian, how to and support!!?
Jesus it was only a spelling mistake! Some people!
Anyway lol...I'm the only vegetarian in a house of 3 and my family haven't found it any more expensive, though they thought they would and huffed and puffed and shouted and acted like I was weird for becoming one. They got over it after a while when they realised they were merely buying less of what they were eating and somethign different for me to eat.
Becoming vegetarian did give me some weird reactions, still sort of does but at the end of the day I did what was best for me. I never announced I was vegetarian straight away because I thought Id never be able to keep to it (sweets mainly as Ive never liked meat) but I didnt miss anything at all. I already hadn't ate red meat for years before becoming veggie, so I just cut out chicken (Im allergic to fish). Do it that way, if you gradually cut it out see if you like it then when your sure then tell them.
Don't feel ike a hypocrite, at the end of the day you;ve lived in the atmosphere where animals are killed an eaten and have decided that you don't want to continue being part of that culture. At the end of the day we all have free will and people shoudl respect you for that.
I'm not sayign it will be easy, I dont mean utting out meat because that was easy for me but reactiosn from some people won't be nice. At the end of the day though people will surprise you and some can be very supportive. Plus it's nice if you have vegetarian friends too as they can support you.
Welcome to our world :) I hope it all goes well for you

Hi, you've asked some questions that are complicated and every vegetarian will have a different answer to them. Yes, sometimes even the most committed vegetarian (that's how you spell it, put your thumb on your nose and wave your fingers at that rude person!) has dreams about eating hamburgers and steaks. It is really hard when, for instance, you used to love to eat salmon (like me) and you go out with someone and they order salmon and you get stuck with lettuce and tomato salad. But you won't look like an idiot unless you act like one. I've founded a group called ';Transitioning to Vegetarianism'; because I think it's important for people like you to be able to come to a place where you can ask these kind of questions and not have to deal with all the rude, insulting comments and open hostility. I would like to invite you to join. I'll put the link in the sources section. There are at least 12 friendly, ';experienced'; and knowledgeable vegetarians who want to help you there.

If you are going to be feeling like a hypocrite, don't do it. You don't have to announce ';I'm a vegetarian';. Just eat less meat. You will do better with a balanced moderate diet. If you are living at home, it's going to be a problem. Listen, honey, it's not worth getting the family all worked up, wait until you are on your own if you want to go vegetarian. Meanwhile, just cut down on the meat. We really don't need a lot of meat protein. But life is a lot easier when you are a moderate ominivore, believe me. You don't spend half your life screwing around with soy this, tofu that, veggie this, nuts that. If you aren't going to do anything worthwhile in your life or you are going to earn a load of money, then you have the time or wherewithall to fool around with this strict vegetarian or worse yet, vegan crap.
what is wrong with these people that have to moan at spelling ? just answer the question .ive hated the taste and texture of meat for years. i could never eat a sausage or burger or anything that had been messed with. i ate what i thought was decent meat but i still didnt really want it. i gradually eliminated meat without being totally aware that i was doing it. then when i saw what went on in a factory farm i was finished with meat and it was the best decision i ever made. its not expensive to eat veg.i love it . i enjoy food again go for it and enjoy
The vegetarian society have a web site (link follows).
Just a quick word of advice: ensure you get sufficient B12. As long as you're happy and keep healthy, what's the worry?! You don't owe an explanation to anyone, you're doing it for you!
Some people will just never get used to the idea (25 years after my mum still has problems with it!)
All things in life deserve to be reviewed periodically and diet is one of the most important - equally that means you can go back to meat if you later feel its right for you.
Don't forget you still need to eat well, its not ideal to give up meat and just eat lots of cheese - but the website should help you.
First off, congratulations! :-)(-: If you are becoming a vegetarian for the love of animals, like me, I would also not eat gelatin. Gelatin is animal fat in starbursts, skittles, yogurt, and more. Anyways, I love edimomi, nuts, rice cakes, and more. For lunches I pack PB sandwiches, water, mixed fruit bowls, and some of the stuff I listed earlier. For meals, I buy the frozen veggies at Target or Wal*Mart for like $.77 a bag, and mix them in with noodles or rice, I make cheese pizza, have the meatless burgers/nuggets. There is so much out there to eat, and it all depends on what you like! Good luck! :-)(-:

Soymilk smoothie recipe-
Mix all in a blender:
1 cup of any flavor soymilk (I like the SILK brand), ice, and a cup of any fruit (you can do more then one cup and different fruits)
First advice: learn how to spell it before you become it
First don't dye your hair pink, then.....
I agree.. learn how to spell it, first!
also.. it is nothing to play around with. You can become seriously ill (anemic) from being a vegetarian for a long time. But, some are more genetically cut out for it than others. The best thing you can do is read, read, read everything you can get your hands on about it. and about good nutrition and cooking. Learn how to cook %26amp; prepare food if you don't already. Get lots of good cookbooks and USE them... learn how to buy the proper ingredients. The Moosewood Cookbook %26amp; other books in this series are a good place to start. But there's tons of good books out there now.
The most important thing is to VARY your diet... visit your local organic farmer's market and buy the freshest produce that is in season, directly from the people who grow it. Stock up on beans %26amp; legumes, different types of rice %26amp; other grains... etc. etc. It's very important to eat enough protein, iron %26amp; B-12- so you should get your blood tested once or twice a year.
The biggest problem I see with Western vegetarians is that their diets suck, they just eat the same few things, just without the meat (white bread with lettuce, lot of cheese, junk food, chips, soda, and then sometimes they smoke too, LOL)... and so many of them look like the sickliest people you'll ever see.... their bones %26amp; veins show, and they are dizzy, light-headed, flaky, low on energy, and they nod off a lot. They will insist they've never been healthier even though they look like concentration camp victims! (Often the lack of oxygen literally affects their judgment too). You will see a LOT of propaganda out there.. so try to wade through it and get to the truth.
And remember this... humans have evolved for millions of years as omnivores.. we didn't get to where we are now by eating just beans %26amp; rice. And, if you are doing it for environmental and ethical reasons.. (which is a good thing to care about, considering the terrible conditions of industrial agriculture!) look at the other side-- for example, farmers are now clear-cutting miles of the Amazon rain forest due to the demand for soy products. Ironic, huh?
I was a vegetarian for several years, many years ago and eventually became very ill... I almost had to go to the hospital %26amp; get a blood transfusion. I was getting no oxygen to my brain (due to low red blood cell count from anemia).. my brain was literally shutting down (similar to blacking out) and I could barely stay awake or walk. The doctor told me my red blood cell count was so low it was almost off the charts.. even though I was working at a health food store and eating EVERYTHING vegetarians were supposed to be eating. He sent me home with iron and beef liver pills, and those saved me.. within a week I was back to normal. So eventually I learned that good nutrition, eating a varied diet of local produce that is in season, etc.. and eating low-fat, low sugar, eliminating chemicals %26amp; junk, is far more important than being a vegetarian. So now I eat everything I learned about in my vegetarian cookbooks, I just eat meat with it. But I only eat meat, eggs %26amp; dairy that is free range, low or non-fat, with no hormones or antibiotics.. and only eat meat maybe once a week or a couple times a month. And I'm healthier than ever! Luckily we live in a place %26amp; an era where good, diverse, organic food is readily available.. not when I was a kid, you got what you got at the grocery store,, you know, the ';SAD'; American diet. Now things are much better! Restaurants are much more diverse %26amp; creative with their cuisine and it's much easier to avoid industrialized agriculture. Oh and one more piece of advice-- if you have a patch of soil where you live, grow a garden-- that's the best food of all, what you grow yourself.
So.. that's my story, take from it what you will.. and just be sure to educate yourself.. (and not from radical people... from more grounded and educated people!) Good luck!

Good luck! :-)(-:

Does the condo Board have to advise of bylaw changes?
Your condominium bylaws will have a written procedure of how amendments and changes are accomplished and the manner in which condo members are to be notified.
You need to pull out your copy of the bylaws as these documents are very individualized to the circumstances of that property and therefore there is no way to definitively answer your question.Does the condo Board have to advise of bylaw changes?
I have already checked our bylaws and other rules and the RCWs and there is nothing about notice other than notice of meetings. Nothing about notice after amendments are made. Is there any other law? We are in Washington.
Thanks

Advise about camera lenses?
I own a Canon EOS 450D and am looking into getting a lens or two, i've only got the 18-55mm that came with the camera and a 60mm macro lens as I have only had the camera for a number of months. Any lens advise is greatly apreciated.Advise about camera lenses?
Hello Catherine.
Buying a lens - or any photographic equipment - is really a matter of personal preference. You, and only you, know what you like to photograph most.
If its landscapes then obviously you'll need a wide angle such as the EF-S 10-22mm.
If you want to shoot wildlife then you'd probably choose the EF 70-300mm IS USM.
So take recommendations from people but decide for yourself what lens to buy.Advise about camera lenses?
If you're serious then the all the 70-200mm L lenses are worth considering. However if I were choosing between an 2.8 no IS and 4 IS then I'd take the 2.8 every time. But if you're going for a 70-200/2.8 the Sigma one is probably the best one to start out with, not as expensive as a Canon L lens, but equally as capable up to 150mm, and even at 200 it's very good, couple that with a 1.4x teleconverter and you have a potent piece of kit.
OK. With that kind of quid you can invest in a decent prime. Start researching 300mm and 400mm lenses. My two favorites are the 300mm f/4 and the 400mm f/5.6 for wildlife.
I have a 300mm f/4 and love it. Read excellent reviews about the 400mm f/5.6

It's a little difficult to give any lens recommendations without you first telling us what photography you want to do, and your budget!.
There is no point in me recommending the Canon 10-22mm if you want to do wildlife photography and have a budget of 拢200.
++
Additional: The 400mm f/5.6 is a great lens. I am just wondering if you may find yourself wanting a lens that you can also use for everyday things. If it was my money then I would look at the Canon 70-200mm series. Either the 70-200mm f/4 L IS or the 70-200mm f/2.8 L.
They are both in your budget and superb lenses.. on your crop body they make good wildlife lenses and if you add a 1.4x teleconverter to the f/2.8 model you have a serious wildlife lens.
Also consider a second hand 100-400mm but I think even that is going to be a little over your budget..

My car window woulnt go up, I think its the regulator can you advise me how i can fix it.?

definitely is insufficient info. and i would NOT try and fix it yourself, since you obviously don't know about cars. that happened to our car twice. it was the motor once, and the other time it was off it's track. anyway, you need to take it somewhere. if it's the motor, it'll be pretty costly, though. i say, just try and push it up, or be ghetto and cover it with a bag. LOL.My car window woulnt go up, I think its the regulator can you advise me how i can fix it.?
you have to pull the door panel off and remove the glass from the regulator assembly first then remove the regulator assembly by drilling out the factory rivets then removing the regulator on it reverse this to install the new one,be careful as you do this not to damage the outer rubber seal on the door,or it will leak water in the door causing damage to the new regulator and motor ,good luck.
Insufficient information. And without the proper skills you could loose fingers

Advise on electric guitar pedals?
I would like to buy some simple pedals that will just give me that sound like the 60's or 70's guitarists use , i'm looking for something simple , and cheap , any advice ?
thank you in advance.Advise on electric guitar pedals?
In the ';early days'; the only effects really were fuzz, wawa and tremolo (raising and lowering of the volume - Fender and Vox called it ';vibrato'; on their amps). Later came the phaser. A volume pedal could produce swell effects too. The thing is, if you go for pedals that claim to duplicate the sound of 60s/70s pedals you'll end up paying silly money. From experience, I would recommend Boss pedals (they're not cheep but I would say they're reasonably priced). I still have a Big Muff fuzz box (my favourite fuzz) and I think the Cry Baby wah is still the best. You might want to try something that simulates tape echo too (quite expensive and I have no experience of any of these units - I still have a Wem Copycat though!).Advise on electric guitar pedals?
Pedals are activated when you step on them. That's why they can go back and forth from playing clean and distorted. Distortion buttons give some distortion, but if you are into metal, you are probably going to want a pedal. Pedals also let you tweak the sound of the distortion with the knobs at the top of the pedal, which is nice when you regularly play with distortion.
Also, distortion buttons work well with some pedals, but probably not a distortion pedal. That would probably just sound like static-y garbage. I have a Boss B-F3 flanger that sounds awesome with a distortion button though.
Boss actually makes a pedal called ';Metal Core'; but I think it sound kind of ';tinny'; and their DS-1 distortion pedal sounds better. That's just personal taste though. You can actually usually find DS-1 pedals on Ebay (and sometimes Craigslist) for a lot cheaper than you would buy them new. Boss actually has a really cool website that actually lets you listen to all the pedals they sell. Here's the link if you haven't been there yet: http://www.bossus.com/gear/subcategories鈥?/a>
As for the new guitar, get one if you really want one. Squier's aren't bad guitars; they are just generally regarded as ';begginer guitars'; because they are inexpensive, not because of the sound or anything. If I were you, I would hold off on getting the guitar until I could afford the really nice one.
Hope I helped. Good luck. :)

All cases of pneumonia should be treated by or in liaison with a qualified medical practitioner.
Here are some old-time helps to use in conjuction w/antibiotic therapy: Equal parts Elecampane root, Echinacea %26amp; Iceland Moss. Mix together %26amp; use 1 heaped teaspoon to each cup water gently simmered 10-15 minutes. Dose: as much as well tolerated every 1-2 hours.
Yarrow, Boneset or Elderflowers, in tisane or tincture, will promote sweating. Make dry hot packs of cloth impregnated with essential oil of Niaouli, Rosemary, Hyssop, Cajeput or Eucalyptus and place over chest. Reheat as necessary. Camphor rubs help breathing. Thyme is the antibacterial used most in chest infections.
While fevered, take only liquid meals or ripe fruit. Vitamin C supplementation is helpful.
If you want a massage, i prefer a shiatshu or acupressure for the lungs. the meridian lungs must be focus to strengthen the lungs. if not the counter part of the lungs. but better see a alternative medicine practitioner for your conditions.
Ginger tea or capsules work pretty good to give some relief to pneumonia. Goldenseal can too!

Softcups......can anyone give me any advise on whether i should use softcups or tapons?
I use tampons now but im getting sick of them
does anyone use softcups?
i think i want to use it but im not sure
and how should i tell my mom when we go to the store that i want to use softcups?
thanksSoftcups......can anyone give me any advise on whether i should use softcups or tapons?
I used Instead softcups for the first time last month and I LOVED them. (They are not female condoms by the way.) I should mention that my periods are usually fairly light and last about 5 days. The beautiful thing about softcups is that once you put them in, you can leave them in for up to 12 hours. While I have never found a tampon that didn't leak, softcups almost never let anything slip. Best of all, there was no string. I could use the bathroom and take a shower without worrying about the string getting wet.
Some things to keep in mind:
1. It's more difficult to put in a softcup than a tampon. While the position of a tampon doesn't really matter, the softcup must fit over the cervix, which involves reaching into your vagina and possibly repositioning things.
2. Some women can feel them, which can be unpleasant. Sometimes it took me a couple tries of putting it in until I couldn't feel it anymore. Other women are less lucky and always feel them.
3. Softcups rarely leak, but once they do, it's much worse than a pad leak or a tampon leak. Pads and tampons don't stop absorbing blood, or at least they keep most of it in place even if you're leaking. But if a softcup shifts (say, at night), then there's nothing to hold the blood anymore and it can get everywhere. I didn't have the courage to try them at night.
4. They're much messier to take out than a tampon.
Overall, I still recommend them. I would imagine that they get easier to handle with practice, and if you're nervous, you can put in a pad or a pantiliner while you try them out.
Tell your mom the truth about why you want to try them. There's no shame in wanting a more convenient period experience.Softcups......can anyone give me any advise on whether i should use softcups or tapons?

I'm a 14 yr old boy and i want to build me body right and to have muscles can any one advise me of what to do?
This is a great age to begin a fitness program to build on for the rest of your life. At your age, you will be able to build a basic musculature that will fill out nicely as you grow older. Your hormone levels and energy levels are already at a level thats perfect for this. So, you wont need any supplements at all.
I would start with aerobics and stretching 4 to 5 days a week. Then three days a week (Mon. Weds, Fri.) do weights. Buy a set of Dumbbells at a used sports equipment store and try the program Ive linked below.
Also find out your BMI and how may calories you need and make sure you get at least these, plus a gallon of water a day.
About the only thing I would try is Iron-Teks Essential Naturals whey protein after your weight sessions.
Do This: Fifteen to 30 minutes (or less) before training, consume 20 grams of protein powder in a whey shake (or other low-fat protein source) and 30-40 grams of slow digesting carbs to help you train hard all the way through your workout. Remember to stick with slow digesting carbs here, such as oat bran, oatmeal, rye or whole wheat bread, or sweet potatoes. On nonworkout days, eat that meal as a snack and drop your post workout feeding.

Q: Are there any foods I should avoid after working out?
A: ';The immediate after-effects of a hardcore training session cause the body to act like a sponge, absorbing far more carbohydrates and amino acids from protein than at any other time of day. Muscles burn through glycogen, their stored collection of carbohydrates, during the workout and literally crave them in the post-training phase. That's why you can get away with eating plenty of fast-digesting carbs with little worry about adding bodyfat at this time. Likewise, you need plenty of protein to rebuild the recently traumatized muscle tissue.
That leaves dietary fat the one nutrient to avoid soon after training. Fat slows digestion, and after a workout, you want the opposite -- rapid digestion -- to immediately start the recovery and repair processes and spur the release of hormones that facilitate growth. So until at least 90 minutes after training, avoid proteins with high-fat content such as whole eggs, dairy products and salmon. Your best bet is liquid protein like whey, casein, soy and/or egg protein shakes. Avoid fiber in the 90 minute window after working out because it slows digestion as well; save the veggies, oatmeal and whole-grain breads for other meals.';

Advise on working from home?
I am going to be home bound for about a year and I would like to work from home. I am very good on the computer and can type very well. I have searched the internet on my own but have been unsuccessful. If anyone works from home or knows of any good and legit websites, your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.Advise on working from home?
I liked cholie's answer regarding spams. Anyhow, I can give you a couple of suggestions like you asked on working from home. You can apply for a telecommuting position like Alpine, West etc. Home jobs do not pay you very well, but if you just want a job to work from home making minimum wage there's a couple places for you right there. Home jobs like I said don't pay very much. They're pretty much the bottom of the barrel type of incomes, so you won't get anywhere in life with them, but it will help make your ends meet. Another way to work at home is to start your own home based business and run it out of your home. In my opinion from personal experiences as well as knowing many people who have their own home based business, this is where the ';real'; opportunity to work from home is. You'll have the same income opportunity as a traditional business without all the over head expenses. They are pretty simple to do.Advise on working from home?
Spam usually is people telling you about things that you are not interested in. In this case, you are interested in having a job that allows you to work from home. That is fine. Just be open to all comments, do research on your own time, and choose the ones that fits you and your lifestyle. There are some scams out there and they are one bad apple ruining a truck load of good ones.
All I can do is give you suggestions. I am doing a business from home at the moment. Notice: my company is an actual business but I chose to do everything on line. The main reason i joined is because I enjoy helping people be healthy and I want to gain benefits from tax write-offs.
Check out the website for more details and to see if this fits you.
Good Luck!
Hi, I don't know about this being Spam but I do have a way for you to make money from home. Go to www.christicollins.com and see what I do from home. Be sure to watch both videos to get all the information. I really enjoy this because I get to help other people and the money is not bad either!! Good luck to you and I hope to welcome you to the team soon.
When you ask a question like this there are only two basic kinds of answers you are going to get:
1. Responses (like this one) telling you that you are going to get a bunch of spam about scams.
2. Spam. (Some of the spammers may give me a thumbs down but that's OK with me. They are still spam. I have influence in the community; they don't.)
There is a site where u can find genuine Data Entry jobs/Work at Home jobs online without any up front costs. You might want to take a look at http://www.Mumworkathome.com for more info.
I know six people who work at home successfully. Three are still employees of companies where they used to work in their offices, and now work at home. A fourth person works independently doing editing for a company she used to do this same type of work for in their office. The other two have their own businesses, one a web designer, the other doing writing and public relations.
Don't waste your time searching the Internet for work at home jobs - they're pretty much all scams.

Advise on buying GeForce graphic card?
I was just wondering which GeForce is better GeForce 9600GT 500MB 256 bit or GeForce 9600GT 1GB 256 bit or GeForce 9800GT 500MB 256 bit? and there are so many brand such as Biostar, Zotac, Asus, etc, which of those are better and have a good coolign system?Advise on buying GeForce graphic card?
depending on if you would be playing with anti aisling would depend on the amount of memory your card will need. it also depends which resolution you will be gaming on. all in all i think the 9800gt 512mb will be the best choice.all the brands you have mention are great but i would recommend EVGAAdvise on buying GeForce graphic card?
Here's how the popular graphics cards compare in games:

Check the other pages.
9600GT 1GB will usually have an edge on the 512MB version at very high resolution setting but won't be able to catch up w/ the faster 9800GT.
Usually the cards with dual slot-space design (thicker) have better cooling and less noise than the slim single slot-space models. I have satisfactory experience with my 4 Palit PCIe graphics cards (2 are factory overclocked models).

Teeth pain and heart problems, please advise!?
I have been to the dentist recently for 4 root canals. I am still experiencing alot of pain, as I need to get a few teeth removed. I am a heart patient (MVR) and therefor I cannot take pain relievers as advil, mortin, ect. I am in alot of pain. Any sugesstions?Teeth pain and heart problems, please advise!?
Other than warm damp compresses in the painful areas on your face or jaw, I'd say your dentist should know if there is anything but make sure he knows about your heart. There's got to be something. Ask a pharmacist also. They most times know more than a doctor because they have to stay on top of everything in the way of meds.
Good luck. Ouch! I know it hurts and I'm limited to what I can take also. Hope you can find something that worksTeeth pain and heart problems, please advise!?
Try using cold compresses. Other than that, I would call the doctor and/or dentist and see what they recommend. I know it's Sunday, but maybe you can call tomorrow.
This is a question that should only be answered by your physician (who is aware of your heart conditions, etc). You should call them Monday and ask them.
you can use prescription pain killer like vicodin and darvon, there is no reason why you cannot use the prescription pkillers,, so why don't you call your dentist and have him call you something in
The teeth may be infected. Your dentist probably needs to prescribe you some antibiotics. Reducing the size of the infection will reduce pain.

go to your local store buy a scraper and scrape the algea off or use a razer blade instead.
tip: get big rocks so that she climb up in them and exersice make sure that at the top she can get out of the water cause sometime they like to sit in the sun.
also, we have a turtle and he like to eat crickets and guppies and golfish (fish).
we put the crickets on the rock so the dont drown.
~hope this helps!~Hi i have a questions. i have a turtle and i want to know if anyone can give me advise how to clean Algae?
look for something called live bacteria (check online or at pet stores)
We found the best thing was a UV FILTER. You can purchase them on eBay. Our turtles tank used to go green as its on our veranda. Make sure when you feed them you remove any uneaten food. you can use a net to scoop this out. We also use an algae magnetised strip to clean the sides of the tank. Our turtles seem happy and over the last couple of days have had 7 eggs. Hope this helps.old lipstick

My puppy is 8 weeks old and hasnt had her puppy shots..She just spit up some foam..Any advise or info?
One word:
V-E-T, and NOW. It could be parvo, which is fatal if it's not found in time.My puppy is 8 weeks old and hasnt had her puppy shots..She just spit up some foam..Any advise or info?
Well occasional vomiting IS common with puppies. It was probably foam because all she had was water in her stomach...That's usually what happens to my dog when we bring him in the car...
Sometimes puppies vomit because they ate something they shouldn't have, and sometimes its because they ate and then jumped around too much and upset their stomach.
Does she seem okay now that she vomited? Or is she acting funny or sick?
You may want to call the vet if she doesn't seem okay, and if she vomits again definitely make her an appointment. My puppy is 8 weeks old and hasnt had her puppy shots..She just spit up some foam..Any advise or info?
She is probably fine. Puppies throw up and that it probably all it is. I would get her shots. Parvo is where they are usually passing blood and won't eat or drink. They are usually very sick acting as well. Rabies is were they have to come in contact with an affected animal's saliva. (This happens by being bitten licked or drinking the water that an animal with rabies has drunk out of.) There is probably nothing to worry about, but you might want to call the vet to be on the safe side. We have several dogs, and throwing up slimy foam stuff is common in puppies. (Especially if they haven't eaten for a little while, and they get car sick.)
Your dog might have PARVO, which can kill your dog! Or it might be rabies EITHER WAY take your dog to the vet!!!!! Also my dog sometimes accidentally chokes on spit or chokes on some type of food, and then she will be ok, just let her be. Think back . . . Has she ate any thing big? or did she make a weird coughing-type sound and scrunch her neck together a couple times before spitting it up?
When i first got my puppy she barfed 7 times on the way home, some times dogs barf when they are stressed or nervous or uncomfortable! Maybe let your dog sleep in your bed, give your dog somewhere special and comfy to relax/sleep in! Make her feel special, like a petite doggy princess!
THIS IS THE #1 DOGGY NONO!!!!!!!
NEVER EVER MAKE YOUR DOG EXERCISE AFTER EATING . . . IT KILLS THEM, THEY CAN GET A TWISTED STOMACH. (ever seen/read Marley %26amp; Me?, yes, thats how Marley dies )': )
I just say you go to the vet like everybody else said, she could have something serious or something harmless, you never know what is going on with animals because they cant talk! So who cares about the money go and save your dogs life . . . maybe try to find an emergency dog hospital!
Puppies spit/throw up for many different reasons... switching to a new food too fast, drinking too much water, eating grass, etc.
Feeding her rice could help soothe her upset tummy... You could try it and see if it helps. If she doesn't feel better in a few hours and/or has a fever, bloody loose stools, is lethargic, etc I would take her to the vet to ASAP get her checked out because she could have parvo.
Parvo can be fatal to puppies.
You better take her to the vet b/c without getting her puppy shots, the dog will get sick.
Why are these puppy shots so important. The answer is simple - puppy vaccinations save the lives of puppies just like yours every single day.
You better get her in for her rabies shot, I think she has it if she spit up foam. Also, watch again if she foams at the mouth, or gets a bit agressive.
Keep a very close eye on her. and get her puppy shots! If she keeps vomiting she may have parvo which an kill her! Make a vet appointment ASAP!
where do you live? i have a human sociesty where i live it it charges 15 bucks for all his shots including microship!!
My advice is..you should take the puppy to the vet. It should have seen a vet by now for it's first health check up
i would take her to the vet now!!!!!!!!

I am going to do a trek in Namibia. Can anyone advise what clothing, equipment etc I should be taking?
You do not say where in Namibia, or what sort of trek you are going to do. If you are on a diy trip, take maps, gps, etc. Remember to take a torch, we used a wind-up torch/radio combination which one can recharge using the cell phone cable. Good protection against mosquitos plus long sleeve shirts, long pants and a good hat are essentials. Sunscreen, of course. And warm clothes for night time. See this link:

Difficult to say without knowing exactly what your ';trek'; entails. There's a difference between going backpacking in the Visrivier Canyon and tackling the dunes in your 4x4. It looks, however, as if the previous answers cover most of the things. Enjoy your trip and don't forget the photo's.
You will need light coloured loose, breathable clothing for the hot days, along with a hat, sun cream, deet, sturdy walking shoes or sandals. For the nights you will need thermal underwear (it is bitterly cold once the sun goes down) and long trousers and tops.
You will need a decent sleeping bag and a thermo rest (if you are camping).
Take some anti-malaria tablets, mosquito net and insect repellent!

Yes, it changes the oxygen in the fuel. You can burn lean and smoke your motor. Depending on whether you have petrol or diesel will make a difference also. Just dont use it to much and have your emissions checked. Also make sure the petrol capis tight.

I need an engineering student from india to give me some advise. anyone there?
i need to know if taking up engineering is agood option if you are not good at mathematics. i mean even biotech needs math right?
and also do you need to take math in 12th to do biotech for the 2006-2007 batch? answer quick.I need an engineering student from india to give me some advise. anyone there?
Hey,
If you're an engineering student, you will have to deal with math. In bio-tech, not so much, but a certain amount of math will be there. Especially in the first and second semesters...
Especially if youre in electrical or electronics, you will have to deal with a lot of equations and numericals. In computer science, your basic logical and programming abilities will matter more.
Ultimately it all boils down to what you want to do. Even commerce and economics have math. After a while, if you chosse to do an MBA or GRE you will have to brush up your math for the entrance exams as well as for actual courses.
Even i was bad at math, and even now im not really very good at it, even though i've improved.
So my advice, do what you want to do, because you'll probably have to deal with math, in one way or the other, in almost any field, whichever you choose.
Later on you'll realize that math isnt really that big of a deal after all. There are loads of engineering students who hate maths but are doing quite okay.I need an engineering student from india to give me some advise. anyone there?
i am not engineering student. but i would suggest you dont take it if you dont like math. do a course centered around your favourite fields of subjects

Does anyone have any advise on dealing with a narcissist?
i need help and advise on dealing with a narcissistic partner and how to change her ways and get my wife back. (we used to be so happy)Does anyone have any advise on dealing with a narcissist?
Sorry just found this question. There's no positive way to 'deal'; with anyone with Narcissist Personality Disorder. They don't suffer from it - everyone else does.
Sorry, I put up with 20 years of increasing emotional/financial/social/mental/etc Abuse. I spent the last 5 years looking for this very thing (how to live with it). I tried many different ways, but the main advice is ';No Contact'; is the best advice, regardless of how unfavourable it is as an outcome. My Ex never recognised that any of his games hurt others. After 20 years of trying, he was never going to change
There's no ';used to be'; - part of the Narcissist's games is to drag you into his/her influence. The ';used to be'; is the very thing that will keep you hoping.
There comes a time when you have to look at the situation - consider if the (declining) 'benefits' of the relationship outweigh the (steadily increasingly) disadvantage.

My ex-girlfriend was narcissistic, and she cheated on me. It's something they need to deal with, once they're gone, they're gone.

I need advise on rights with a roommate in Florida ASAP!?
I recently moved into a house in Florida 3 months ago with a roommate. When we first got the house they ran both of our credit, she did not have enough credit established so I went ahead and put the lease in my name only ( the leasing office does know that she is living here as well)
Like I mentioned we have been here 3 months, 2 weeks ago she said that she was moving out 鈥?she said that鈥檚 she needed to move in with her parents for whatever reason it is, I told her she needed to either find someone to take over her portion of the lease or give me a 30 day notice. Yesterday she said the movers are coming this sat and she will be out. I asked her if she was planning on paying Sept rent and she just shrugged her shoulders which leads me to belive she鈥檚 not. Conventely she is moving her stuff our on the first so I can not change to locks or anything until then and by then she will already have her stuff out.
Since she did not sign the lease, is she able to leave with out any notice? Am I able to go after her portion for the rent?
I sure did learn a lesson in this one鈥?.never trust anyone and always make them sign something.
I would be able to afford the rent if she gave the 30 day notice to start saving鈥?.
Please, please please help me ASAPI need advise on rights with a roommate in Florida ASAP!?
The bad news is that you don't have a lease, so she does not have to give you notice. The good news is that you are entitled to your rent. I don't know about Florida, but in NY, any person that resides somewhere for thirty days is considered to have lived there and would be financially responsible for their rent. Therefore, get yourself a lawyer and sue her for the court costs and the remainder of the rent.I need advise on rights with a roommate in Florida ASAP!?
Nope, there is nothing you can do.... she actually was not living there legally.
Sorry.
thats a heaping portion of SOL
being that she acknowledge she didnt leave 30 days notice or anything, i suggest taking her to small claims court andsuing her for her portion of the rent owed for september. or with hold her portion of the security for failing to do . find someone else and have them sign a side agreement agreeing to give 30 days notice if they plan to vacate. good luck!
You could take her to court. If she had been paying rent before then, it will be obvious to the judge that you had some sort of verbal agreement that she was to be paying rent, regardless of whether her name was on the lease. With no lease, she can leave whenever she wants though.
Sorry to tell ya...but there is no 'help' available.
She didn't have good credit, which usually happens for a good reason. Responsible people have better credit ratings than irresponsible flakes, normally. She didn't sign a lease. It sounds as if you didn't bother having her sign a separate agreement with you.
However, I'm not sure why you can't change the locks before the first....if she's not on the lease, then you can do whatever you want. She will be forced to seek damages in a small claims court, and it's likely that she will settle with you instead.
If it were me, there would be no question about it. I would change the lock, and tell her that she can pick her stuff up when she pays you Sept. rent. It's not a nice thing to do, but niether is leaving you in such a bind. She has been immature and selfish. Maybe you should fight fire with fire...

I'm looking to visit Cabarete in late May this year. Worried about rain. Can someone please advise?
We'd love to plan a trip to Cabarete in late May, but I'm worried about it being rainy. If someone could ease my nerves, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you for your help!!!
I know there can be afternoon storms, right? Is it still usually nice for the rest of the day? Thank you SO much!I'm looking to visit Cabarete in late May this year. Worried about rain. Can someone please advise?
We get tropical storms all the time. The blessing is the temp will drop some and the clouds block the sun's intensity. So, tropical storms come on fast and leave fast. In all the time here, I've never seen a full day of rain, non stop. But when you feel the first drop, find shelter it will come down in a minute or less and drench you. Bring an umbrella if you still want to get around, most people don't use ponchos.I'm looking to visit Cabarete in late May this year. Worried about rain. Can someone please advise?
i advise u to bring an umbrella if ur so worried. hmmm...i think i deserve a best answer people.
Rain!! Shower!!, maybe some that will last less than 15 minutes. A bright sun would comes out after. It don't rain everyday.
So hopefully you will have a pleasant vacation.
Enjoy your trip!!
It varies from year to year, some years wetter than others so be sure to bring a poncho. As others have posted theshowers may come and go in short order, Check the site below for Puerto Plata about 40-50 kilometres away, scroll down and you can check for the weather history.
Storms? No way!, maybe a short rain for 10/15 min no more and SUN again!

Does ANYONE Own a cleanning Franchise? i need some advise?
I WANT TO INVEST SOME MONEY (1000 AND 5000) AND I HEARD THIS IS A GOOD BUSINESS RIGHT NOW. ANY SUGGESTIONS?Does ANYONE Own a cleanning Franchise? i need some advise?
This is how you approach a franchise.
A. You look in the yellow pages for cleaning services in your area like Molly Maids, or Merry Maids, anything thats a national franchise.
B. Call them directly and tell them what territories they have available. They'll send you information on becoming an owner.
C. Look up listings in Larger cities to find Cleaning franchises that have yet to come to your city - these are the ones you go after. Find out everything you need to know about B and C options, and even search online.
D. If you plan on doing the work yourself, your best option is to start your own cleaning company. For more info, click on my username, and search my best answers for starting a cleaning business. There you'll find a step by step process to success.Does ANYONE Own a cleanning Franchise? i need some advise?

Is there a way of getting a good divorce advise without paying a fortune?
I am currently starting a divorce process and I would like to see what options and resources are there for me without having to pay a fortune for the first appointment with a lawyer, any help?Is there a way of getting a good divorce advise without paying a fortune?
JUST REMEMBER, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WHEN IT COMES TO DIVORCE.
THE PROCESS IS THAT YOU FILE A PAPER TO THE COURT..THE OPTIONS ARE WHAT YOU WANT MATERIALLY OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP. IF YOU HAVE A SEPARATION AGREEMENT ALREADY IN PLACE, IT CAN BE INCORPORATED INTO THE DIVORCE. EITHER WAY, CHILD SUPPORT;CUSTODY, THINGS FROM FURNITURE AND HOUSING ARE ALL SEPARATED ON THESE DOCUMENTS.
ALIMONY AS WELL. YOU MAY CHOOSE TO WAIVE EACH OTHERS SOC SEC BENEFITS AND RETIREMENTS. ONCE FILED, AND A COPY IS MAILED TO YOUR SPOUSE, THEY HAVE TO SEND AN ''ANSWER' BACK TO THE COURT IF THEY AGREE OR NOT. THEN A HEARING IS SET BEFORE A MAGISTRATE (IN SOME STATES) IF YOU TWO ARE IN AGREEMENT ON EVERYTHING (it is called UNCONTESTED DIVORCE). IF YOU DISAGREE, THE DIVORCE HEARING WILL BE SET BEFORE A JUDGE AND AFTER HEARING EACH SIDE, THEY WILL DECIDE WHO GETS WHAT. (This is called a CONTESTED DIVORCE).
THERE ARE LOCAL LAWS AND RIGHTS THAT YOU WILL NOT BE AWARE OF IF YOU GET THE PAPERS FROM THE COURT AND FILE FOR YOURSELF IN COURT. ''''''THAT IS THE REASON FOR GETTING A LAWYER.'''''' NO REPUTABLE LAWYER WILL GIVE ADVICE WITHOUT A RETAINER~~MONEY TOWARDS HIS FEE TO FILE YOUR DIVORCE AND GIVE ADVICE.
GOOD LUCK.Is there a way of getting a good divorce advise without paying a fortune?
A lot of lawyers do not charge for an initial consultation.
Check around.
My advice is to call a divorce lawyer and ask for a free consultation. I'm thinking divorce lawyer's would offer such a deal, because bankruptcy, and other types of lawyers offer free consultations.
Good Luck!!
Look in your local phone book.
Libraries. Especially those near court houses or universities. I researched alot of great advice about step-parent adoption and parental termination there. My answer to your question is to do lots of research. I did so much research, I could tell you ANYTHING you want to know about that. Talk to friends who may have gone through the same thing...or attorney friends, if you have any. Online information is also helpful. Good luck!
Ask my ex-wife.
She found a book on do-it-yourself divorces. If there are no kids and not alot of assests to divide and the split is amicable then you don't need lawyers.
Also, you could go to one of those ';We the People'; they will handle all the paperwork for you for about $299. Not exactly cheap, but better than a lawyer. Again, this is if the divorce is amicable.
Well, I seen some programs on tv where them folks off they're spouses, but I think you get yerself in jail fer that, so yer gonna hafta pay a lot or go to jail. Sucks either way.

Looking for advise on the best on-line trading platform for stocks and options at a volume of 25 to 50 a week?

Could anyone advise which brands of cross trainers are good. I just don't know how much I should spend on it. ?
by cross trainers, i assume you mean indoor cycling products? if so, i woudl recommend cycleops and giant brand trainers. the Cyclotron Mag II trainer (Giant brand) is priced at $160.00. it has a 7 resistance levels handlebar mounted thumb shifter, which is pretty awesome. fits any bicycles. I would say this is the beast bang for the buck. as for cycleops, the Mag Trainer is also rated well. It retails for about $200.00.
hope that helps..old lipstick
hope that helps..
My baby is 2 months old and having sex is so painful because i had stichtes any advise?
I experienced the same thing when I had my daughter as I'd had an episiotomy.
Some tips:
1) Relax - tensing up about the whole thing doesn't help, lol.
2) Foreplay helps alot and gives you a chance to enjoy intimacy even if you don't get around to going all the way.
3) A really good water-based lubricant- we used one called Durex Sensilube which is a vaginal moisturiser and very, ahem, realistic!
4) Try out different positions to find the one that's most comfortable for you and puts less strain on the area that was stitched
5) Patience. It took my husband and I a good couple of tries before we resumed our old sex life. If it doesn't happen just yet, simply give yourself a bit more time to heal.
Also I found that Tucks medicated pads were very soothing on my stitches or even a few witch hazel-soaked cotton balls placed in the fridge.
Good luck!My baby is 2 months old and having sex is so painful because i had stichtes any advise?
Chances are you are a slow healer and you need more time, if you are absolutely unwilling to wait then take 3advils and use lots of lubrication. My baby is 2 months old and having sex is so painful because i had stichtes any advise?
Maybe you aren't yet ready to resume sex. Wait another week or 2 and use a good lubricant when you try again.
you only had the baby 8 weeks ago. I would just wait. If sex is painful, simply dont have it. give yourself some more time to heal.
for me sex was just painful upon penitration, go SLOW and try going on top, having control will allow you to do whats comfortable.
my sister had the same problem, she started having sex after two months, she would try once a week every week until it no longer hurt

I am almost 11 weeks pregnant and still being nauseous. I was advise of preggie drops as a remedie to this sickness. Can someone advise where can I get the drops ?I have been facing terrible Morning sickness, can someone advise any cure to this ?
Hey there! I had serious morning sickness during my first pregnancy and this one, This time it only actually went away at 6 months gone, i was gutted i could barely function! My first pregnancy was terrible i was so sick i had to be put on anti sickness medication from the dr called cyclozine (sp) i was so dehydrated cos i coulndt even keep water down i was admitted to hospital, thankfully that was rare and once i had started keeping things down i felt much better!
I tried everything, from ginger biscuits to crackers and nothing worked! So a friend recommended vitamin B12 and i started taking them and my sickness got better, it didnt go away completely but it took away that horrible nauseous feeling that made me feel so rough and i was actually able to eat again and start feeling somewhat normal!
Im now 38 weeks gone and the last few days ive been feeling really sicky again i dunno whats wrong with me so i might have to start taking them again!
Give them a try it might just work for you too!
Ive never heard of drops, if i had have maybe i could have gotten them too lol!

You may be able to alleviate nausea by keeping some
food in your stomach 鈥?by avoiding having a stomach that鈥檚 completely empty or completely full. Here are some other dietary suggestions for preventing or relieving nausea:
Eat smaller meals or snacks frequently throughout the day.
Have a small snack at bedtime and when you get up to go to the bathroom at night.
Avoid foods and smells that trigger nausea.
Drink fewer fluids with your meals.
Generally morning sickness is not dangerous. But if you get dehydrated,it may affect your baby.
Emetrol is the only nonprescription nausea medication that's considered safe during pregnancy. Reflux medications such as Zantac or Pepcid sometimes work for women whose nausea and vomiting is triggered by gastrointestinal distress.
You should always try nondrug remedies first, since it's best not to expose your developing baby to any drugs if you can help it.
Hey I'm 7 month pregnant and when i was 3 months pregnant i had really bad morning sickness too. I used to eat loads or Arrowroot biscuits which taste really nice and ginger biscuits also i found sucking on ice helped a lot there was one point where i cud only eat fruit and i used to dread waking up to feel so crap but when i was 4 months i went back to normal and started eating properly again now i have no morning sickness whatsoever. Hope i helped. Good luck and try drinking lucozade original because that also helped me a lot x
I don't know of where you would find those maybe Cvs pharmacy...but also you could try SeaBan braclets, they are braclets you wear while your pregnant (worked for me) and also as soon as I woke up in the morning if I had a banana and water, it helped me feel better and i wouldn't throw up
I dont know about the drops but a lot of people eat ginger biscuits to help, for me what helped was drinking lots of water, my hubby used to bring me a drink and a slice of toast before i got up in a morning!
Please check with your doctor before you take anything when pregnant. I took some prescribed medicine, which did help a bit. But not much ...
try eat something sour like a pickle or lemon or try eating something salty like a cracker
I think they have them at drug stores, like CVS or Walgreen's. I certainly hope they do work for you! Good luck.
idk bout the drops but try canda dry and some crackes
