Advise on working from home?

I am going to be home bound for about a year and I would like to work from home. I am very good on the computer and can type very well. I have searched the internet on my own but have been unsuccessful. If anyone works from home or knows of any good and legit websites, your help is greatly appreciated. I liked cholie's answer regarding spams. Anyhow, I can give you a couple of suggestions like you asked on working from home. You can apply for a telecommuting position like Alpine, West etc. Home jobs do not pay you very well, but if you just want a job to work from home making minimum wage there's a couple places for you right there. Home jobs like I said don't pay very much. They're pretty much the bottom of the barrel type of incomes, so you won't get anywhere in life with them, but it will help make your ends meet. Another way to work at home is to start your own home based business and run it out of your home. In my opinion from personal experiences as well as knowing many people who have their own home based business, this is where the ';real'; opportunity to work from home is. You'll have the same income opportunity as a traditional business without all the over head expenses. They are pretty simple to do.Advise on working from home?
Spam usually is people telling you about things that you are not interested in. In this case, you are interested in having a job that allows you to work from home. That is fine. Just be open to all comments, do research on your own time, and choose the ones that fits you and your lifestyle. There are some scams out there and they are one bad apple ruining a truck load of good ones.





All I can do is give you suggestions. I am doing a business from home at the moment. Notice: my company is an actual business but I chose to do everything on line. The main reason i joined is because I enjoy helping people be healthy and I want to gain benefits from tax write-offs.

1. Responses (like this one) telling you that you are going to get a bunch of spam about scams.





2. Spam. (Some of the spammers may give me a thumbs down but that's OK with me. They are still spam. I have influence in the community; they don't.)

I know six people who work at home successfully. Three are still employees of companies where they used to work in their offices, and now work at home. A fourth person works independently doing editing for a company she used to do this same type of work for in their office. The other two have their own businesses, one a web designer, the other doing writing and public relations.





Don't waste your time searching the Internet for work at home jobs - they're pretty much all scams.
