freeze it with ice cubes brake the ice then suck them up with a vacuumCan anyone advise how to get candle wax out of a carpet thanks cmr1711?
if it's not alot, try ironing over a paper bag over the wax......
it does work....move tyhe bag as you iron and it will absorb the wax
Indeed! I own a carpet cleaning business here in Dallas and see that all of the time. Merely follow these instructions!
1. After wax hardens, scrape up excess with a dull knife.
2. Place part of a paper bag over the remaining wax.
3. Place a warm iron over the bag and press gently.
4. Repeat until all the wax is transferred to the paper bag.
Put a paper towel over the wax. Then take a hot iron and press it against the paper towel for several seconds. The heat from the iron will melt the wax and it will be absorbed into the paper towel.
If it's not a lot -
Put a towel over it and put a hot iron over the towel - that will draw the wax up into the towel.
if it's a bit more - Linen's and Things and Bed Bath and Beyond both sell ';wax-out'; which you spray on, let set then tediously tug out.
