go to your local store buy a scraper and scrape the algea off or use a razer blade instead.


tip: get big rocks so that she climb up in them and exersice make sure that at the top she can get out of the water cause sometime they like to sit in the sun.





also, we have a turtle and he like to eat crickets and guppies and golfish (fish).


we put the crickets on the rock so the dont drown.

look for something called live bacteria (check online or at pet stores)
We found the best thing was a UV FILTER. You can purchase them on eBay. Our turtles tank used to go green as its on our veranda. Make sure when you feed them you remove any uneaten food. you can use a net to scoop this out. We also use an algae magnetised strip to clean the sides of the tank. Our turtles seem happy and over the last couple of days have had 7 eggs. Hope this helps.
