I experienced the same thing when I had my daughter as I'd had an episiotomy.
Some tips:
1) Relax - tensing up about the whole thing doesn't help, lol.
2) Foreplay helps alot and gives you a chance to enjoy intimacy even if you don't get around to going all the way.
3) A really good water-based lubricant- we used one called Durex Sensilube which is a vaginal moisturiser and very, ahem, realistic!
4) Try out different positions to find the one that's most comfortable for you and puts less strain on the area that was stitched
5) Patience. It took my husband and I a good couple of tries before we resumed our old sex life. If it doesn't happen just yet, simply give yourself a bit more time to heal.
Also I found that Tucks medicated pads were very soothing on my stitches or even a few witch hazel-soaked cotton balls placed in the fridge.
Good luck!My baby is 2 months old and having sex is so painful because i had stichtes any advise?
Chances are you are a slow healer and you need more time, if you are absolutely unwilling to wait then take 3advils and use lots of lubrication. My baby is 2 months old and having sex is so painful because i had stichtes any advise?
Maybe you aren't yet ready to resume sex. Wait another week or 2 and use a good lubricant when you try again.
you only had the baby 8 weeks ago. I would just wait. If sex is painful, simply dont have it. give yourself some more time to heal.
for me sex was just painful upon penitration, go SLOW and try going on top, having control will allow you to do whats comfortable.
my sister had the same problem, she started having sex after two months, she would try once a week every week until it no longer hurt
