My friends always keep insulting me for some reason and It troubles me. Could somebdy advise me on wat to do.?

What i mean is my friends keep on insulting me if I do something clumsy or not and it really depresses me. I do get angry but I try to keep my cool because I don't want to lose my friends (also most of the times they, if i do well in class or get something good they always say that its because i'm an Indian) could someone please help me out on what to do?My friends always keep insulting me for some reason and It troubles me. This was years ago, the people I thought were my so called friends, the one was getting married, the then bf was best man and guess what - I didn't get invited by either the so called friend or bf.





The night of the big wedding guess what get a call ';Oh can you come over it is SO boring'; My response is ';Oh I made other plans and I really have to go.';





When I told my mom she said to me, '; Sharon if they were truly your friends they would have had some consideration for how you felt about being left out, they are really not a friend and maybe its time to find some different friends.';





Painful as it was, I cleaned house, the bf and so called friend and the rest of the pack all got the boot. Now 35 years later they are all still operating the same, but hey I have to live with myself and I feel okay about who and what I am.
it depends on the context and tone, but if they keep doing it and you are upset from it, tell them so (in a calm and nice manner). If they still do it, loose them.
Guys insult each other, that's just how they do. Sure it's disrespectful, but it thickens thin skin. They have low self esteem. Laugh it off and harass them back.
There being ignorant. Go find some other friends that can welcome you for who are and what you are with open arms. Ignore them and move on with your life. Don't hang out with immature people.
Yeah I totally agree that if they are insulting u then they ain't your friends. I would dump em and find real friends.





Don't be afraid to dump em either. U can find better friends.
They arnt your mates then are they if there been like that tell them too F*** off. But if there joking just laff about it and say stuff bk

You will learn in life that people that treat you like that are not your friends.

ok obviously there not reallly ur true friends in life u WILL learn that you have true friends and not ones!
