Silly question, but can anyone give me advise on how I can turn a..?

big baggy black t shirt, in to a rugged looking decent-ish dress.

it doesn't have to look perfect, infact, the more ripped and such the better

any ideas on how i should cut it?Silly question, but can anyone give me advise on how I can turn a..?
Cut the neck area so its not so t-shirt looking. Stretch the shirt after cutting to give it a better look. You could also make it one shoulder if you like. If you want, cut the sleeves off or just the top so it falls a bit. You could also add a belt if you like

i got 2 ideas.

1: you could tear 2 rips in the shirt going from the bottom of the shirt (up until about the bra line), then make slits along the rips u just made on each side of the shirt, then tie them together. the finished product should look like on each side of ur body (where ur arms would b if u kept them down straight 24/7) there's ties holding the shirt together. this gives a edgy look to a old un-used shirt.

2: you could stich the back of the shirt (again @ about ur bra line) so that the top will be fitted. then u can cut beltloops into the waist line and depending on how long the shirt is u can rip off the bottom, dye it, and use that as a belt or some facy ribbon, or just a belt! to make it even edgy-er u can cut out the trim to the sleeves and have them looked riped and desressed along with the neck line. this look is edgy, versitile, and fun to wear.

hope that helps :)
you can just wear it with leggings or skinny jeans and a belt
