Female needing urgent advise about my citroen saxo brakes?
i have been told that the reason my rear N/S brake is sticking is because there is a rubber thing missing on the caliper piston, the bloke did show me when he took my wheel off but i cant remember what he called it exactly. Anyway because this rubber bit is missing the piston part of the caliper has collected dust and other crap which is stopping it fully retracting when i take my foot off the brake. He then told me to repair this i would need a complete new caliper at a cost of 拢180, but since then i have been told that i shouldnt need a new brake caliper to sort out the problem because calipers can be overhauled and the rubber part most probably could be purchased from a dealer, Was the garage trying it on because im a female or will i really need to replace the whole caliper just because of this small rubber thing. Please help, my mot is due and it wont pass with these defective brakes, because today the brake has started grinding so there must be no lining left on the pads.Female needing urgent advise about my citroen saxo brakes?

don't believe them the whole calliper does not need replacing. a calliper overhaul kit can be bought. the piston can be freed as long as the correct lubricant is used (any decent mechanic would know this). If you don't use your car every day the grating could be rust on the discs.If you do use it every day get it checked soon because if they are worn down the pads need changing before they ruin the discs. I hate it when people get robbed by garages it gets all us mechanics a bad name. In fact if you lived close enough to me I would fix it for the price of the parts!!!

If its excessive, then tell the vet that as well. If the cat is an outdoor cat, then I would definitely take it to the vet, especially if it hasn't got any needles.
Cats don't get colds. The cold virus is human-specific. How about taking this kitten to a vet to be checked out? It sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection that will not go away without antibiotics. And really - how can anyone here magically tell if she's sick or she's allergic to something? That's what VETS are for.

If you like to do your homework on your computer, it'll never work out, because you'll be tempted to check your myspace account, your email, and all the fun stuff people do on the net. If you try to do your homework in a room with a television, the tv is going to grab your attention.
Let's put it this way. School work is a little on the dull side, and sometimes it's a pain to have to do homework. Your brain is going to find every excuse it can to go do something more entertaining. It's hard to focus.

You need a quiet office or desk area... no tv, no radio, no internet, no video games, and close the curtains, because looking outside is a big time waster. It's hard to find an environment like this, which is why the library is such a cool place to go. The library is quiet, and has plenty of desks to study from. Spend a good hour in a library and you'll accomplish more in that hour than an entire week at home.

All known time from wake to sleep will be spent going over material, reviewing it in my head during breaks, and getting back to it quick if I'm distracted. I take time out for treat time and sleeping. Hobbies are on hold until it clicks with me.
There is a l0t of solutions you could study with high voice this helps a lot . Also you could make a paper with most important idea in each sentence or paragraph . You have to eat well during exams that make you more effective . There is an idea to make some records of what r u studying if it need to be learned by heart you could make a record and listen to it a lot until you study by heart .You could increase you memory power buy doing tests when you r walking or driving or any thing like trying to remember the numbers of a car you have pass through it from 1 min. that's really works .

All it takes is a LOT of practice. Just try drills like slowly jogging while dribbling the ball. After a while you can speed up a little... keep getting faster and faster. You can also stand still and do small dribbles (close to the ground) and go around each leg with both your left and right arms. Hope that makes sense. But in general... just keep practicing!

A friend told me to try yahoo answers to get some advise on this. I just recently got a call from a debt collector inregards of a capital 1 bill i had in 2000, he told me i owe 9k, where it was 3200 in 2000. I is tring to set me up with a payment plan of 200 dollars a month for 45 months. What i am having a hard time with is the extra6k seems fishy I have not made a argeement with him and he has been calling all day. He did tell me friday if i havent made a disision by monday he will have no choice to file a law suit. He also included the state of michigan where i live they may look at is a felony due to theaft not intending to pay back.. any one been in this situation, I do not want a felony on my record but i dont think it is right for the 9kNeed some advise with dealing with a debt collector?

If that time has passed, they can still sue you but when it gets to court all you have to do is show that the S.O.L. has expired and it will be dismissed.

Again he is lying to you no state can take out a felony against you for not paying your bills. In fact if he is telling you all these false things you can advise him that you will file a law suit against him for misleading you. I would advise him that you will be recording his/her conversations and will seek legal advice if he keeps lying.

I believe that the amount is likely correct. The debt collector purchased your debt and now they are paying staff to track you down, get you to pay it, and also making you pay for all the other people that declared bankruptcy and screwed them out of payment.
The $9,000 is probably due to several late fees and the interest that has accumulated on the original $3,200. I assume that you do owe the original amount at least, so you should demand to see the paperwork regarding the $9,000 so that you can determine if the fees are accurate. I have been in a similar situation, and I can tell you that while this is serious, you don't need to be extremely worried. He is throwing that stuff about a law suit and prosecuting you for a felony in there to freak you out and to get to you do what he really wants, which is for you to pay the money.
That said, you really need to get this take ncare of. I would recommend trying to negotiate the debt down to a more manageable amount. They will almost always do this if you agree to either pay all of the money at once or agree to pay a lesser amount back in a shorter period of time. Remember, the only way this guy makes money is if you pay, so he needs you to pay, that is his job. When you are negotiating with him, be firm, don't let him rattle you and state your terms clearly.
Whatever agreement you make with him, get it in writing. When you make payments to them, do it in a way that can be recorded easily, such a check or a money order directed to them. Keep copies of everything. Once the money is paid off, ask them to send you a letter that states that the debt has been paid in full, and to update that information with all 3 credit agencies. He is throwing that stuff about a law suit and prosecuting you for a felony in there to freak you out and to get to you do what he really wants, which is for you to pay the money.
That said, you really need to get this take ncare of. I would recommend trying to negotiate the debt down to a more manageable amount. They will almost always do this if you agree to either pay all of the money at once or agree to pay a lesser amount back in a shorter period of time. Remember, the only way this guy makes money is if you pay, so he needs you to pay, that is his job. When you are negotiating with him, be firm, don't let him rattle you and state your terms clearly.
Whatever agreement you make with him, get it in writing. When you make payments to them, do it in a way that can be recorded easily, such a check or a money order directed to them. Keep copies of everything. Once the money is paid off, ask them to send you a letter that states that the debt has been paid in full, and to update that information with all 3 credit agencies. It is important to get that agreement and to keep track of your payments to them because they have a nasty habit of trying to add even more fees on after you have paid the agreed to amount. Also, you may need that letter showing paid in full to send to the credit agencies yourself to get your records updated.
I could go on and on - I have been in this situation myself and it really sucks. You have limited options, but you do have options. Good luck!

Need some advise on Rail Travel as a Uni Student...?
Im planning on travelling from Lincoln Central to Norwich by train, every weekend 3 weeks in a row. I am planning on getting a young persons rail card to save a bit of money, but I would like some advise what people think is the best way to go about this, because a lot of my student loan is eaten by this travel so im eager to spend as little money as possible, and for anyone who says dont travel so often - well thats not an option for me! Travelling by coach isnt viable for me as its a long journey and i'd like to read or set my laptop up and i get travel sick on busses cars and coaches looking down lol.
If anyone knows of any better discount cards, or websites to buy tickets this would also be very helpful!

I personally dont use the trains anymore due to ultra rip offs, use National Express coaches they are FAR cheaper. A ticket from Northallerton (40 miles above york) to london costs 拢120 using the train, whereas using National Express fun fayres it cost me 拢4!

I really want Diana Vickers hair, its so nice but when ever I try it just goes flat straight away when I backcomb it or its just a straight and boring up lift backcomb, and when I curl it with spray and scrunch it goes messssy. I have loads of products just no idea what to do with them lol

Can anyone advise a breed of dog which gets along better with rabbits / guniea pigs ??
I have two rabbits and two guniea pigs which have free roam of the house but guniea pigs rarely venture outside of kitchen. Have heard most dogs are trainable from a young age to get along with most animals ? Wondering whether anyone has any personal advice ?? ThankyouCan anyone advise a breed of dog which gets along better with rabbits / guniea pigs ??
NO TERRIERS! Things like labs and collies that are good natured natuarally %26amp; have a reputation for being 'smart' would be the pic. You would have the best of luck with getting puppies, so they can naturally adapt to the other animals. Terriers are hatefull spitefull animals. I have seen many. The name comes from them being territorial. They hate other animals that are in the same surrounding as them. Chiwawas bite and nip, they would probably kill your pets. So will minpins. Big dogs arnt bad. A collie would be good. Or lab.Can anyone advise a breed of dog which gets along better with rabbits / guniea pigs ??
My Great Pyranese loved my rabbits. He thought the newborns were the greatest thing ever!
this may sound strange but i have 2 ferrets and i bring them to my Friends house and they have pit-bulls they play very well with them
I would definatley say to stay away from any terrier breed. They are bred to hunt critters. Even if you have one from a pup, it's in their blood. It's very hard to train it out of them. Make sure you find a dog that doesn't have hunting in their breed.

I would suggest a breed that does not have strong herding instincts. For example, Border Collies, German Shepherds, etc. any kind of herding dog tends to have stronger prey drives. If I were you I would do lots of research on breeds that don't have those instincts. I think no matter what kind of breed you decide on, getting a younger dog will help. S/he will be able to grow up realizing the small animals are part of his/her pack. Good luck to you!
well one thing i can tell you is stay away from terriers and greyhounds they greygound chases a fodent in a race the terrier was used for pest control and their natural instincts come back from time to time my friend has a shitzu that sleeps with a rabbit
I have two golden retrievers. They are older, but they don't bother the rabbits at all. Several other people on a rabbit forum I'm on have had good experiences with goldens and rabbits.
My Bernese Mountain Dog is great with small animals. He used to let my hairless rat crawl into his hair to sleep.
Not all animals will get along with small animals even if raised with them. I would stay away from any breed in the terrier or herding groups, and I would probably try to stay away from the toy breeds too. Most working breeds would be okay, the only concern would be the size.

I have two golden retrievers. They are older, but they don't bother the rabbits at all. Several other people on a rabbit forum I'm on have had good experiences with goldens and rabbits.
My Bernese Mountain Dog is great with small animals. He used to let my hairless rat crawl into his hair to sleep.
Not all animals will get along with small animals even if raised with them. I would stay away from any breed in the terrier or herding groups, and I would probably try to stay away from the toy breeds too. Most working breeds would be okay, the only concern would be the size.

I would say for jumping to just do a lot of wall jumps. There are special weights you can buy for your feet to practice jumping in as weel. General conditioning is good for young players. Work with them on hitting and setting (yes there is setting footwork) too! Passing and serving are the key first steps. They should be focused on the most of the major skills. Be encouraging and dont' apply to much pressure. If you should get a sewing machine that does not have the option of lowering the feed dogs (or feed teeth), you can set the stitch length to zero. Use a darning foot to free motion stitch.
The other option would be to visit shops that sell sewing machines.
If they want to keep their customers, they are not going to sell a brand that does not sew well.

Which ever brand you buy - read and follow the instructions, in particular, how to thread (presser foot up - always) and inserting the bobbin correctly.

I think someone said it is loading the files and that is true. The best way to shorten this is to make sure that you when you put the MP3 files into the player u do not put them in a folder. They were married long enough to have teenage kids! So, before it goes any further, he HAS to tell her the truth. The longer he waits, the harder it will be on everyone, especially if children are involved.
No matter what, he shouldn't lead her on like that.

Let's put it this way. School work is a little on the dull side, and sometimes it's a pain to have to do homework. Your brain is going to find every excuse it can to go do something more entertaining. It's hard to focus.
You need to go to an environment that will limit the distractions . You need a quiet office or desk area... no tv, no radio, no internet, no video games, and close the curtains, because looking outside is a big time waster. It's hard to find an environment like this, which is why the library is such a cool place to go. The library is quiet, and has plenty of desks to study from. Spend a good hour in a library and you'll accomplish more in that hour than an entire week at home.

There is only one way..and it is expensive. you would have to get a disposable styrofoam cooler, freeze the food you want to send (if it will freeze and hold up). Then get dry ice, wear gloves and pack the bottom of the cooler. (DO NOT TOUCH DRY ICE). And then have the shipment sent over night. That's where it will get expensive.
Get me a zip code and city and I can get you an estimated rate. But I'm pretty sure this is going to be well over $200.00Can anyone please advise me how I can send today's food in a friend of mine in England?

I'm remodeling my bathroom. I'm installing porceline tile around the tub and entire floor (matching) Right now Ive got the new backer board installed around the tub and floor. My question is, what do you use to fill the seam lines of the backer board? Do you use thinset mortar, with fiber tape? Or do you just fill it with mortar? What about the inside corners? One inside corner of my tub has a good 1/3 inch gap. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Prepare a double boiler. Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, egg yolks, flour and salt. Add milk and mix again. Heat on stove until the custard sticks to the sides of pan, approximately 20 minutes. Add vanilla after mixture has thickened. Let cool.
To assemble: Put few drops of pudding in the bottom of a 2-quart dish and spread around. Layer Nilla Wafers and cut up 2 bananas, add 1/2 of custard, repeat layer and arrange wafers around the sides.
In a separate bowl beat egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar and cream of tartar until it forms stiff peaks, spread on pudding and bake in a preheated 425 degree F oven for 4 minutes, just brown on top.

Mixing the gas is not hard at all. All you do is decide the size of your gas can and there is little plastic bottles of oil depending on the size that you pour in. There is no math or guessing required.

Need advise for my business?
I need an idea of how to keep track of people entering my company. I have a children's indoor play area with slides etc. At the moment I have just got tokens to give to the parents for each child, but they keep getting lost. They need to hand them in to me before they leave but of course if they have lost them it is hard to keep track. So I need a way to keep track of how many children are in, and to stop them losing them. Thanks.Need advise for my business?

Use the supermarket trolley return system!
Charge the parents a deposit for the tokens, on return they get the deposit back.
A deposit that outweighs the value of the token plus a free lolly for each child is a surefire way of making sure parents hand them back when they are about to leave. (a) the parent will want their money back (b) pester power from the children will make sure they get their lolly. Explaining that it is for their own child's safety by regulating numbers should make it a bit easier to swallow for them, after all, you're not charging more, you give them the money back within a couple of hours.
Give them a rubber wrist brace. They are very cheap, colorful and soft. No need for pocket at all but you do need an arm or leg.
Of course we can never be 100% sure that they don't lose it.You know they do get crazy while they are playing. We can only reduce the chance of losing.
RFID wrist bands. (RFID - Radio Frequency ID) They will uniquely identify each child and each child can be linked to an adult. You can have your premises wired so that you can have a real time view of where the children are, and where each corresponding adult is. You can also track your employees this way, to make sure that there is proportionate supervision, and move your assets to where they are needed.
You can also be alerted when a child leaves the premises without the accompanying adult.
As a caution, this isn't cheap, but it can be leased equipment. Let me know if you need a contact for this type of system...
I think a radio-tag system would be too expensive (and you seem to suggest that you don't need it for security primarily but just for keeping better control of whats going on). The best solution so far given is the rubber wrist bands...I would suggest that a velcro wrist-band type of system would be better. That allows you to adjust the thickness and there is no risk of cutting off blood supply as with an elasticated system (and a Velcro device can be attached easily over clothing, even over a coat if required). Since you are already using tokens then maybe you could combine the two ideas and have a soft fabric strap which is secured with velcro but also have velcro attached to the back of the tokens so these can be attached and removed as well. That means you can vary the system later (switch to colour coding or whatever) and could even upgrade to an RF tag solution if necessary (ie swap the tokens for the tags).
