Newly planted trees shrubs loosing leaves. Please advise.?

My husband and I ripped out old bushed and planted 3 new beds. One has boxwoods and crimson barberrys. The boxwoods seem fine but the barberrys are loosing leaves. Please advise.

In one corner, we have also planted a dwarf japanese maple and I just noticed a few leaves turing yellow.

The third bed we planted a weeping cherry and the leaves are turning yellow on this too. We planted perinials aroung the bushes and some of them have flowered.

Its been a baout 2 weeks and I am watering almost everyday it doesnt rain. I live in NJ and the soil is more shale.

Please advise, I dont want to loose these plants as they were quite expensive.

Thanks.Newly planted trees shrubs loosing leaves. Please advise.?
YIKES!!!!

Gardeners will tell you the best time to plant trees and shrubs is in the fall when they are dormant.

Did you prepare the soil prior to planting. Making soil amendments such as getting rid of the shale, adding peat moss and ensuring you've got good drainage. What about the nutritional needs?

Did you loosen the root balls, and remove the burlap if there was any? Did you fill the holes with water prior to planting to ensure good drainage?

All trees and shrubs will go through a period of SHOCK when planted during the growing season. Try not to panic, if you've followed the planting instructions, and didn't cut corners they'll probable be okay.

You'll just loose some leaves....not the whole plant/tree.

In more established trees and shrubs when they have leaves that turn yellow, it's usually an iron deficiency, but they are too newly planted I would think to be suffering from this.

If you water sufficiently today and the ground is still moist tomorrow...I wouldn't water any more. Too much of a good thing can be a BAD thing!

Good luck!!

I like to use 10-10-10 fertilizer on everything...can't burn it up, when in doubt...keep it on hand!Newly planted trees shrubs loosing leaves. Please advise.?
could be transplant shock. water every other day instead of daily. they might just have wet feet.

since some of your plants are doing well, I'd think your soil's ok..

ease up on the water.. Unless something really crazy has happened, they should come out of transplant shock in a few weeks.

I have an interview for BSC in nursing degree is there anyone who can advise me on any issues?

Read the Nursing Standard %26amp; Nursing Times to familiarise yourself with current nursing/NHSissues, the BBC health page is also good for that kind of thing. I had an interview for nursing recently %26amp; they did ask me about current issues so you will need to be able to talk about things. There's no knowing what they will ask but I was lucky %26amp; my interviewer just asked me to pick a current NHS topic %26amp; give him my opinions on it. It was quite informal though, once I'd said my piece we just chatted about my topic. Not as scary as I thought.

A good website for advice %26amp; support is linked for you below. There's advice for wannabe student nurses, current students %26amp; qualifieds. They're a great bunch on there %26amp; I've found the site so useful.

I m from algeria and i want to learn english i need a good advise?

i like it but i have no gramma how i can prouve my englishI m from algeria and i want to learn english i need a good advise?
start with simple stuff like kids books... etc

The best way to learn any language is to live in a situation where that language is the only one spoken.

If that is not possible, have the person watch some good quality educational kid's shows. The vocabulary is simple and they are teaching simple concepts . Shows like Sesame Street and Blue's Clues teach counting and colors in English as well simple interactions between people.

English classes are also a good idea.

you'd be surprised how much that can teach you.

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the Internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of on line courses, which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzptI m from algeria and i want to learn english i need a good advise?
REad lots of books. Check to see if your country has a british council. They teach english really good. you could apply for a course.
Apart from trying to get help from books, listen to english news and try to watch english movies or Tv, whatever you like, if you have any english friend, talk to him/her in english no matter how bad you think your english is. It will improve without you realising, when you speak it more. But to improve grammer you ould have to read english grammer books, Good luck!

  • How are prints different from paintings or are prints not made using paints ?please advise.?

Paintings are ';one offs'; and the artist has sat and slaved on them for hours and sometimes days to get them right. Prints are turned out in the thousands by a machine which runs at 15,000 prints an hour. Do not have a print in your house - only hang real paintings on your wall - they do not have to be expensiveHow are prints different from paintings or are prints not made using paints ?please advise.?
A print is a copy that has been printed not paintedHow are prints different from paintings or are prints not made using paints ?please advise.?
Sorry to say that, folks, but I think our friend is not asking about prints but ETCHINGS or engravings.

Etchings, an art in which a.o. the Japanese are very great artists (Watanabe for example) are made by engraving figures on a copper plate, using acid and other techniques that are quite difficult to practise. Then you put the appropriate amount of ink (black or coloured) on the copper surface and apply paper.

Most great artists made some famous etchings.

Look at the site I refer you too.

Oh yes, another point : the first prints are better than the latest ones -that is why the copies are numbered- and after a certain numbers of copies are made the copper support is no more usable.

It's great art, but very, very difficult!
A painting is an original, a print is a copy (ie like a photocopy)

Originals are more expensive, and they are the only one, prints, there could be thousands of them all the same.
The painting is the original. Prints are the copies of that painting.
Prints are exactly as the name suggests.. printed. Prints can be made from paintings, photography, or any other type of art work with a paper medium . In the context of paintings prints are effectively photocopies. Posters (ie lithography) for example, is a form of printed art.
There are lots of different sorts of 'printing' which produce images. However, if you buy a print of a painting, it is simply a mechanical reproduction of the original. There is no paint involved - the printing is similar to that you find in a magazine. If you get a magnifying glass and look very closely at the print you'll see lots of different coloured dots - they make up the image.
paintings are drawn by humans with hands and prints are those made using machines, but any where colour(also called paints) is the common thing used.
My wife was commissioned to do a painting, this is obviously the 'ORIGINAL' watercolour in this case. The person who commissioned the painting then wanted copies of this to sell /supply to his friends, colleagues, etc. These were 'PRINTS' of the original and were done as a limited edition run of 200. Not all prints are part of a limited edition run. Limited edition runs of prints, each print is numbered for example; 21/200, meaning twenty first print of only two hundred. Each one is still individually signed by the artist and numbered as I have explained. Don't get the idea that all prints are copies of painting. Etchers and printers also produce PRINTS of limited runs. In this case the prints could be produced by a number of methods. Such as from a etched copper plate, lino print, wood block or other. Hope this helps!

I had a bad case of heartburn all night...could anyone give me some advise, please?

It burned in my throat and I could not vomit which was very unusual for me. I took baking soda and then I drank Mylanta. Finally I vomited so hard I broke a blood vessel in my throat and vomited up blood. My insurance won't pay for my Nexium any more.I had a bad case of heartburn all night...could anyone give me some advise, please?
You need to go see your doctor. having real bad heartburn could mean that have acid reflex. my dad use to get very bad heart burn every night to the point where he'd cough soo bad he's stop breathing. we finally made go to the doctor and he was prescribed a pill.its not nexium but something els i don't remember what it is called. if your insurance wont pay for the nexium maybe you could see if there a generic form of it that will be covered. other than that take lots of tums or what ever you have until you can get to the doctor and avoid the food that will give heartburn to you.I had a bad case of heartburn all night...could anyone give me some advise, please?
That sounds awful. I was going to suggest the baking soda thing or celery or chewing gum or even vinegar and water but if it's that bad you probably need some sort of prescription medication. My best to you.
    Go talk to your doctor

Chevy 4.3 timing issue, distributor, please advise?

On putting the distributor in and setting up timing: I put it on TDC #1 compression stroke, drop in the distributor and have the rotor pointed at #1 to fire. On cranking, it backfires through the intake. Obviously the valves are opening at the wrong time. What am I missing? Any help from fellow gearheads appreciated!Chevy 4.3 timing issue, distributor, please advise?
I would first make sure I have the spark plug wires on in the proper firing order which is stamped onto the intake. Then be sure to have the firing order is the proper sequence for the way the distributor turns. If all that is good, you probably have the distributor timed to the motor 180 degrees out. When setting the motor up at #1 TDC, you can't just see the timing mark on the indicator at 0 degrees as that only means it could be #1 or its running mate. You have to either eye up the valves as you slowly turn the motor over or remove #1 plug and as it rolls up compression stroke you will either hear air coming out the hole or you will feel air coming out with your finger kinda plugging the hole. Then you know for sure the motor is on #1 TDC where you then set the distributor into place and get it running to do the final timing.Chevy 4.3 timing issue, distributor, please advise?
If you've had the timing chain off, your cam is proably set 180 degrees off. If that's your problem, take the chain back off, turn the cam gear exactly one rotation, and put it all back and try that.

Advise on law uk and Holland?

I had a window of my caravan broken by a boy from Uk playing football whilst on holiday in Holland.

I had to pay 拢200.00 to get fixed can i take family to small claims court to get money back or is it that it happened in Holland UK law with not be in force or are there any European laws that could assist me.Advise on law uk and Holland?
I am from Holland and in Holland the boy, or if a minor, the parents are responsible for the costs you made. The best is to immediately alert the parents and ask them to refund the costs you have to make. If they don't agree then you could inform the police.

Reading your story, I assume you are already back from holiday. That makes it much more difficult, if you have the parents contact information you could contact the parents and ask them for a refund.Advise on law uk and Holland?
You have the right to take the parents to small claims court in UK. Firstly write a polite letter to the parents requesting they pay the costs, provided they were aware at the time of the damage caused by the boy. You can not expect them to pay if they were not aware.
It is a criminal matter and must be dealt with by the police in Holland
It happened in Holland, so Dutch law will apply.

An online PhD is not a real PhD. Especially if it comes from a for-profit institution.

To all the mums out there, any advise how to keep cellulite away and stretch marks?

try a cleansing program it helps to remove the fat deposits and has vitamins and minerals to make the skin elasticity shrink back . There are programs that you can use to help reduce fat deposits and train your body to utilize the food you eat.To all the mums out there, any advise how to keep cellulite away and stretch marks?
I was told baby oil. I have no kids but a woman who i know had 3 and used baby oil from day she found out pregant and never got a stetch mark at all!!! Good luck.To all the mums out there, any advise how to keep cellulite away and stretch marks?
keep fit either going to fitness classes, the gym or swimming is excellent and moisturise regularly, adn drink pleanty of water.
Hi, I did spinning a couple of times a week (exercise class on a bike). That seemed to help?
Moisturise and when you've moisturised enough, moisturise a lot more.Baby oil on wet skin as soon as you set foot out the bath/shower.Rub it in a bit then dry off the rest with a towel.Take collagen supplements before bed every night and drink lots of water!Bio-oil is also excellent, great results.
Well beside normal exercise, I use massage Palmer's cocoa butter formula massage cream for stretch marks
well, you can do exercises and you have to balance you hormones like consumating yourself, meaning drying out the fats you produce due to concieving and gaving birth, and from sustaining your baby, see your body is automated when you learn that your concieving, so it started producing extra nutrients, then when you gave birth the body doubles it up, then when your baby starts weaning it triples, thats why you bloat up, during concieving, when you give birth you losen some wheight, but the body ,knowing that you had child, tries to maintain to sustain it, then when you sustain your child itll triple to sustain you, have some ready sustanence, and a back up, know youll be asking if its automated already cause giving birth and weaning is almost the same!? nope entirely different story, see your body when you dislodge the baby, means that the lifeline it used to have, is gone, know when you were still concieving theres milk already!? but no! alas its no milk atall, its just preparation for your breast for weaning.

now when you first breastfeed your baby, do you think its milk??, the answer is no! its actually the nutrients the womb feeds the embryo, this is the time when your baby learns to breath in the nose!!! and practice to inflate and deflate his lungs and strengthen the lung cavity! now would you believe if i say your baby used to breath in the fallopian tube and feed in the anus?? so the body of a mom is comparable to Ms Dos program it is actually panicky but gradual on adaptation and transitions. So back to milk youll be producing milk like afterwards depending on hows your cycle is you will know on your wheight, body volume and the size of your abdomen. now you can actually command your body, you just have to know which keys to push, afterall whats body clock for anyway!!! Now people will say alot of things ask alot of questions reg, what I said, but believe you me, I know what Im talking about. you might say I was thin when I was pregnant, I was fat, I was this and i was that, but see heres the key, if you just knew yourself way before youll be in command! but if you do, dont over do it!!!
i think it is impossible, it all about the elasticity of your skin and weather you have fat deposits under the skin so when your skin stretches thats why you get stretch marks. i try moisturising everyday and night and good balance diet.i think thats all i can say really.

I am starting clomid this month any advise would be great?

When I took it, I had PMS-like mood swings. Plus, I had hot flashes. But, it was definitely tolerable and went away. It's worth it, good luck!!!I am starting clomid this month any advise would be great?
Im going for my second round of clomid next week and my dosage will be 100 , so .... I will be taking them at night to avoid side effects , eventhough I hardly had side effects from the 1st round , I just had breast discomfort. So I think its different to everywomen. Just take it easy .

Good luck!I am starting clomid this month any advise would be great?
I started mine today, it made me really dizzy and i felt like throwing up all day.
The most important thing is to be sure and take it at night, right before bed. That way you will sleep through some of the side effects.
I am ready to start my 3rd round of clomid 50mg's next week, the 1st month i suffered from really sore boobs, and very itchy nipples, i also had a few teary day's but this month i have felt much better, not sure if my dosage is right, but got hospital on the 29th to see how things are going ok, but i found that the less i thought about side affects, the less i had.

lots of baby dust to us both, goodluck x

If he can roll from his tummy to his back and his back to his tummy, then he is fine sleeping in whatever position you find him in.I can get my five month old son to sleep om his back any advise?
Oh my god, i was so where u were a few weeks ago. I had no sleep when my daughter decided she was a tummy sleeper. They are fine sleeping like that if they can roll. Even if for any reason they cant get back onto their backs, like my daughter has before as she rolled to close to the sides (she can only roll to the right at the moment lol) they will cry for you to help them so i wouldnt worry...altho i understand that u would.
once they are old enough to roll over on their own it`s ok. relax.
no once they can roll on there own you really dont have to woory so much about that anymore. my son was doing it at 4 months and i asked his ped the same thing.
it's ok since he knows how to roll over.

If you think this is a problem, place two thick, rolled up towels on either side of him when he is laying down on his back. This will prevent him from rolling over
my daughter does that now and hates sleeping on her back there is nothing you can do to stop him really,he should be fine i mean if he can roll over on his front he should be able to roll back

Why did Bhutto return to Pakistan (The Public Eyes)? 10 points for the best advise.?

She should knew she has many enemies. However--why did she still want to be in the public eyes? Is she a power hunger. Is she that idealist?

Thank you.Why did Bhutto return to Pakistan (The Public Eyes)? 10 points for the best advise.?
Bhutto's father was hung for false corruption charges when he was president. Her two brothers were assasinated. Her husband was falsely criminialized and both Bhutto and husband was exiled. With that on your mind, what would you do? Forget the deaths of ur family and go watch American Idol? She wasn't just an idealist, she was someone looking to make a change for what she cares about, the fate of her country. If u understand Pakistan, it's been deeply rooted in corruption and at the opposite spectrum of a democratic country. What would you do if you had the knowledge, passion, but most importantly, support to make a change? go to disney land? If she was power hungry, she would have abliged to corruption and favor the extremist state of pakistan. Why did Bhutto return to Pakistan (The Public Eyes)? 10 points for the best advise.?
There's absolutely no way that she was unaware of how many enemies she had, and after the attempted assassination of her in October there's absolutely no way that she was unaware of how vulnerable she was. I think she must have been very idealistic to stay in Pakistan when she could have easily fled and lived for a long time somewhere else.
no she is not power hungry. and of course she knew she had many enemies. the reason she went back was for something that she believed in and that was her country she believed in her people her country and her religion and everything that those stand for. and she believed not in what her country has become but she believed in the way her country was in the way she knew it is capable of being not this place where Muslim extremists roam the streets blowing them selves up she believed in a cause and her cause was restoring her country to what she had always known it was and of course she knew she had enemies she knew it the first week she was back in Pakistan but she knew what she wanted for that country and i believe that she would of died for what she believed in which is very courageous and has nothing to do with being power hungry it has to do with believing in something and caring for her people
she was determined to make a positive effect and difference in her beloved country. she was a brave women, that knowing, there was a great chance she would have been killed but still she pressed on!
A very few of the best of us are beacons of light in this desolate world. Benazir Bhutto to me was one of them. I've been impressed with her since she became Prime Minister of Pakistan. She rose to position of leadership over a Muslim nation, something difficult to fathom even in the 21st century. Yet she led as a lady with style, grace, elegance, intelligence, and wisdom. She was special. Yes she knew she had enemies. I truly believe she layed down her life to demonstrate to her nation there are principles worth living for, and if need be, worth dieing for. I would vote for her any day over any of the presidents we've had in the U.S. in my lifetime, and most of the ones who have come before with the exception of Harry S (for nothin) Truman.

    Earf!
don't you think she ponderd these questions over and over in her head, and also ask for advice from her confidants. and also thought, how it would look if she never went back, to look like she was giving in to these mindless terrorists and being a coward, this is a different culture with different thinking, she must have also thought about the worst outcome, she was very brave to face the unknown fact, that she might die, but to die for a cause, to middleastern people, that's like a trophy for them to die for their cause, good or bad. that's their life and they are used to it............
First of all whoever saying she loved the country or something like that they must be either her supporters or foreigners. I am not her against as i always stand neutral.

This is also the fact No one in the country is sincere to Pakistan. If tomorrow another big political figure Nawaz sharif will die, people will say he is a matyr. Infact its not b/c not a single political leader is beloved to his country.

It all come down to one thing which is just the 'lust of power'.

And people like Bhutto whose family roots were in politics.

This is what they do to live.. I m sure she didnt even know how much assets she had. It just you like to be in control.

And to all supporters of her, please do not hate me to say this b/c if she was literally to do something for the people.... Dont forget this fact she was elected twice.......

What Pakistan had made progess in 2 of her session?

May Allah rest her soul though! Amen
To show that fear in this world means nothing for those who believe. Its unfortunate that many have to die before they put up a stop sign.
Regaining power lost is a strong motivator and often worth the increased risks.
    to fight for democracy.

Any lawyers on here that can give advise?

do any lawyers or law student's, paralegals ever come here? if yes i need to ask a legal question. thanksAny lawyers on here that can give advise?
THE best way to find a lawyer is by word of mouth. Ask your: family, friends, coworkers, anyone you might know in the same situation, etc.

    OR

Call your local (usually county) bar association. Ask for names of attorneys that handle your type of matter. (If money is a BIG problem, you could also ask for the phone number of your local LegalAid office. - the attorneys at LegalAid are ';real'; attorneys, but sometimes in the field of Law, how much you are willing to pay does affect the quality you get.)

When you call the law office(s), insist on speaking with the Lawyer. Do not tell all the little details of your matter to the Secretary - save the details for the Attorney. When you get the Lawyer on the phone line, ask him/her:

-Do they give FREE, initial consultations? (most do, but not all - you have to ask, don't assume)

    - How much do they charge?

    - Could you make payments on your account?

-Can they help you? OR Refer you to someone who can help you?

    Good luck.

(This is based on my knowledge, information, belief, and life experiences. This was intended as personal opinion, and not intended to be used as legal advice. Seeking advice over the Internet is not a good idea - the field of Law is too complex for that. Please be careful and do your research.)

I have wanted to become a vegitarian for a long time now but too afraid to do it.

I worry i will miss meat and look an idiot, i dont think i eat that much meat and i hate handling it it makes me feel sick.

I think people will think me a hypercrit due to i grew up in the countryside and animals were to eat and people think me rude if i go for a meal and i wont eat meat.

I have not seen any video of animals being killed as i have seen it all before, i am not happy at how it is done but i accept that people do eat meat and enjoy it. I went to college last October and ate alot of vegitarian food and boy i loved it.

Anyway lol...I'm the only vegetarian in a house of 3 and my family haven't found it any more expensive, though they thought they would and huffed and puffed and shouted and acted like I was weird for becoming one. They got over it after a while when they realised they were merely buying less of what they were eating and somethign different for me to eat.

Becoming vegetarian did give me some weird reactions, still sort of does but at the end of the day I did what was best for me. I never announced I was vegetarian straight away because I thought Id never be able to keep to it (sweets mainly as Ive never liked meat) but I didnt miss anything at all. I already hadn't ate red meat for years before becoming veggie, so I just cut out chicken (Im allergic to fish). Do it that way, if you gradually cut it out see if you like it then when your sure then tell them.

Don't feel ike a hypocrite, at the end of the day you;ve lived in the atmosphere where animals are killed an eaten and have decided that you don't want to continue being part of that culture. At the end of the day we all have free will and people shoudl respect you for that.

I'm not sayign it will be easy, I dont mean utting out meat because that was easy for me but reactiosn from some people won't be nice. At the end of the day though people will surprise you and some can be very supportive. Plus it's nice if you have vegetarian friends too as they can support you.

Welcome to our world :) I hope it all goes well for you

    Just do it hunny~!
Hi, you've asked some questions that are complicated and every vegetarian will have a different answer to them. Yes, sometimes even the most committed vegetarian (that's how you spell it, put your thumb on your nose and wave your fingers at that rude person!) has dreams about eating hamburgers and steaks. It is really hard when, for instance, you used to love to eat salmon (like me) and you go out with someone and they order salmon and you get stuck with lettuce and tomato salad. But you won't look like an idiot unless you act like one. I've founded a group called ';Transitioning to Vegetarianism'; because I think it's important for people like you to be able to come to a place where you can ask these kind of questions and not have to deal with all the rude, insulting comments and open hostility. I would like to invite you to join. I'll put the link in the sources section. There are at least 12 friendly, ';experienced'; and knowledgeable vegetarians who want to help you there.

If you are going to be feeling like a hypocrite, don't do it. You don't have to announce ';I'm a vegetarian';. Just eat less meat. You will do better with a balanced moderate diet. If you are living at home, it's going to be a problem. Listen, honey, it's not worth getting the family all worked up, wait until you are on your own if you want to go vegetarian. Meanwhile, just cut down on the meat. We really don't need a lot of meat protein. But life is a lot easier when you are a moderate ominivore, believe me. You don't spend half your life screwing around with soy this, tofu that, veggie this, nuts that. If you aren't going to do anything worthwhile in your life or you are going to earn a load of money, then you have the time or wherewithall to fool around with this strict vegetarian or worse yet, vegan crap.
what is wrong with these people that have to moan at spelling ? just answer the question .ive hated the taste and texture of meat for years. i could never eat a sausage or burger or anything that had been messed with. i ate what i thought was decent meat but i still didnt really want it. i gradually eliminated meat without being totally aware that i was doing it. then when i saw what went on in a factory farm i was finished with meat and it was the best decision i ever made. its not expensive to eat veg.i love it . i enjoy food again go for it and enjoy
The vegetarian society have a web site (link follows).

Just a quick word of advice: ensure you get sufficient B12. As long as you're happy and keep healthy, what's the worry?! You don't owe an explanation to anyone, you're doing it for you!

Some people will just never get used to the idea (25 years after my mum still has problems with it!)

All things in life deserve to be reviewed periodically and diet is one of the most important - equally that means you can go back to meat if you later feel its right for you.

Don't forget you still need to eat well, its not ideal to give up meat and just eat lots of cheese - but the website should help you.
First off, congratulations! :-)(-: If you are becoming a vegetarian for the love of animals, like me, I would also not eat gelatin. Gelatin is animal fat in starbursts, skittles, yogurt, and more. Anyways, I love edimomi, nuts, rice cakes, and more. For lunches I pack PB sandwiches, water, mixed fruit bowls, and some of the stuff I listed earlier. For meals, I buy the frozen veggies at Target or Wal*Mart for like $.77 a bag, and mix them in with noodles or rice, I make cheese pizza, have the meatless burgers/nuggets. There is so much out there to eat, and it all depends on what you like! Good luck! :-)(-:

    Soymilk smoothie recipe-

    Mix all in a blender:

1 cup of any flavor soymilk (I like the SILK brand), ice, and a cup of any fruit (you can do more then one cup and different fruits)
First advice: learn how to spell it before you become it
First don't dye your hair pink, then.....
I agree.. learn how to spell it, first!

also.. it is nothing to play around with. You can become seriously ill (anemic) from being a vegetarian for a long time. But, some are more genetically cut out for it than others. The best thing you can do is read, read, read everything you can get your hands on about it. and about good nutrition and cooking. Learn how to cook %26amp; prepare food if you don't already. Get lots of good cookbooks and USE them... learn how to buy the proper ingredients. The Moosewood Cookbook %26amp; other books in this series are a good place to start. But there's tons of good books out there now.

The most important thing is to VARY your diet... visit your local organic farmer's market and buy the freshest produce that is in season, directly from the people who grow it. Stock up on beans %26amp; legumes, different types of rice %26amp; other grains... etc. etc. It's very important to eat enough protein, iron %26amp; B-12- so you should get your blood tested once or twice a year.

The biggest problem I see with Western vegetarians is that their diets suck, they just eat the same few things, just without the meat (white bread with lettuce, lot of cheese, junk food, chips, soda, and then sometimes they smoke too, LOL)... and so many of them look like the sickliest people you'll ever see.... their bones %26amp; veins show, and they are dizzy, light-headed, flaky, low on energy, and they nod off a lot. They will insist they've never been healthier even though they look like concentration camp victims! (Often the lack of oxygen literally affects their judgment too). You will see a LOT of propaganda out there.. so try to wade through it and get to the truth.

And remember this... humans have evolved for millions of years as omnivores.. we didn't get to where we are now by eating just beans %26amp; rice. And, if you are doing it for environmental and ethical reasons.. (which is a good thing to care about, considering the terrible conditions of industrial agriculture!) look at the other side-- for example, farmers are now clear-cutting miles of the Amazon rain forest due to the demand for soy products. Ironic, huh?

I was a vegetarian for several years, many years ago and eventually became very ill... I almost had to go to the hospital %26amp; get a blood transfusion. I was getting no oxygen to my brain (due to low red blood cell count from anemia).. my brain was literally shutting down (similar to blacking out) and I could barely stay awake or walk. The doctor told me my red blood cell count was so low it was almost off the charts.. even though I was working at a health food store and eating EVERYTHING vegetarians were supposed to be eating. He sent me home with iron and beef liver pills, and those saved me.. within a week I was back to normal. So eventually I learned that good nutrition, eating a varied diet of local produce that is in season, etc.. and eating low-fat, low sugar, eliminating chemicals %26amp; junk, is far more important than being a vegetarian. So now I eat everything I learned about in my vegetarian cookbooks, I just eat meat with it. But I only eat meat, eggs %26amp; dairy that is free range, low or non-fat, with no hormones or antibiotics.. and only eat meat maybe once a week or a couple times a month. And I'm healthier than ever! Luckily we live in a place %26amp; an era where good, diverse, organic food is readily available.. not when I was a kid, you got what you got at the grocery store,, you know, the ';SAD'; American diet. Now things are much better! Restaurants are much more diverse %26amp; creative with their cuisine and it's much easier to avoid industrialized agriculture. Oh and one more piece of advice-- if you have a patch of soil where you live, grow a garden-- that's the best food of all, what you grow yourself.

So.. that's my story, take from it what you will.. and just be sure to educate yourself.. (and not from radical people... from more grounded and educated people!) Good luck!

Can anyone who lives in cardiff south wales possible advise me on any landlords that accept dss payments?

You will find it difficult to get a Landlord to accept DSS because so many of these people have the housing benefit sent direct to themselves, and don't use it to pay their rent. I worked for a guy who rented houses and Flats in Cardiff, and he lost 拢19000 in one year because of people like that. Try Estate Agents in Cardiff if you like, but don't put your hopes up too high.

  • What to advise my 14 yo son? He wants to date!?

He's in 10th grade and wants to date a girl on Monday! please,

i know lot's of kids are doing this, but, Im not ready to deal with teen coupling and heartache. should i suggest 'group' dates only?

What to advise my 14 yo son? He wants to date!?
I'm 14. I'm a girl. And if it's his FIRST date then,I think he will be fine.

You should let him go.I know it may be hard for you,but for him it's even harder not to date.If he doesn't get the experience of dating now,he will be a reck when he's older. What to advise my 14 yo son? He wants to date!?
Ah yes, time to stretch the apron strings to the breaking point.

    You'll no doubt get tons of advice, but one piece of advice I received that I've always treasured was this: ';You are special to the girl you are dating / going out with / going ';steady'; with. At least you are special enough to her for her to go out with you. This can go in all sorts of directions, both good and bad, but whatever you do, do not do anything that will ever make you a bad memory for her.';

In some cases even some of the best kids need to have explained to them what that means exactly, in terms of respect, kindness, courtesy, not ';telling tales'; and how to deal with heart-ache without expressing bitterness or anger.

The other thing I would say to parents is this: Life is short and adolescence is even shorter. Let your kids have some fun while they are kids. Don't do stuff to them, either via being too restrictive or too permissive, that will make their childhood a bad memory for them too. You will know them longer as adults than you will as teenagers, so don't needlessly do anything while they are teenagers that will totally alienate them from you when they're adults.

    Good luck!

Your son is in 10th grade which means he has been taking sex ed classes. He's old enough to start dating now and suggesting group dates is fine, but chances of doing many wont last. Just talk to him about dating and if you find out anything that comes up sexually just do the safe sex talk. You have to remember that things are different now a days. What was hush hush is now exposed and kids are doing everything. Whether you are ready or not, your son is. Be open with him and open minded.
Group date, home by 10, dinner and movie, know were they are at all times, give him the talk..., tell this young man that he can wait till marriage or when he is 43. It will be harmless, my mom was the same way, I have 3 brothers and I remember this time, my parents took it hard but then they realized that we were being good and having a fun time
At his age, group dates, or hanging out at her home or your home, when parents are there is great. We haven't strictly limited our 15 year old to such yet, but so far that's all that's really come up.

Until they can drive themselves around, its pretty easy to arrange for dates that involve more than just the young couple.
Set boundaries that you see fit. But in my opinion this is the age most kids start dating these days. Use this as an opportunity to tell him how to treat a woman and how the girl should act. Let him know you support him dating but dont think he should get serious any time soon. Tell him to date alot of girls to see what kind of girl he really likes . Tell him sex is completly out of the question but also be realistic and let him know what sex is the consequences and what he can use to protect himself. That includes if the girl says she is on birth control...good luck
Set limits--curfews, days when he can and can't go out--maybe no dates on school nights--schoolwork and his athletic/extracurricular activities come first, meet the young ladies. 14 year olds can't drive, so offer to chauffeur them. Make sure their dates occur in public (which can include dinner at your house--they can't be in room together with the door closed unless someone else is with them--preferably a younger tattle-tale-y sibling/cousin)

In my opinion, dating is searching for a spouse.
I remember when I was 13 and I went on my first(ish) date. Any ways he was planning on taking me to the movies. My bff Claire was just asked out by this boy she had been dying to go out with but her mom said no going with just a boy. So I offered to double date and we even got my bff Ashlee and her boy Karl to come.

Everyone had a great time. It was great and all fun but then when I went on a one on one date with Cody it wasn't that great or fun (the only good part was the good night kiss).

My opion group dates are WAY better for beginners, especially at his age. If the girl turns out to be not what he expected it's nice to have friends to go back to or if things get akward.

All together I think group dates would be best but one on one isn't THAT bad it has its ups and downs. I'm sure it'll be fine no matter what =). Just make sure they're safe!

    Good luck out!!!
Be open with your son tell him how you feel and talk to him like an adult. If you try to tell him no or restrict him he will pull away and probablly do it anyway. If you talk with him openly and honestly about it he should respond well. Let him go but keep an open line of communication about it. He has to learn on his own, but theres no saying you cant help him along the way.
You should let him date. But keep on eye on them. Like only let them go to public places such as the mall, dinner, etc. Don't let them hang out alone at eachothers houses. My little brother is 14 and we just found out he had sex. My mom would let girls come over and they'd close the door. Have your honey talk to him about sex, std's, abstinence, etc. You don't want him to be out ther uneducated on sex.
No I think you should let him go on this date by himself. Just make sure theres set rules on his cerfew and whatever else you feel he needs to follow. You dont want him to think you dont trust him by telling him he has to stay in a group.
I would suggest group dates, it is a great first step. Plus, keeps them accountable. Maybe when he's 16 you can let him do one on ones, but no reason he needs to this young.
your his mother, he looks to you for answers and relys on your common knowledge and advise. with that said, you feel its ok to get the answers for your son from a bunch of complete strangers??? thats lackluster poor parenting.
Yo he's 14, let him date. And unfortunately it's your job to deal with that. But if you really don't want to then tell him that.
just give him a break and let him or else he will do it anywayz and you will get mad i know this stuff trust me... let him but say only if u go on group dates or take a friend with you
I say you let him go one the date, but just set rules on what he is and isnt allowed to do or allowed to goo.!

    Gooood luck :)
Even if you don't ';allow'; he's going to do it behind your back so I say you just support him anyways.
Fourteen is too young; have him wait a year. He might be mad, but he'll thank you when he's older.
Group only gatherings are best at that age!
Let him date. I know your scared but hes a big boy now.
Just let him go on the date!
you should do group dates its alot funner and easier
helllll no! dont make him go on group dates!!!!!!!

just let him date! he'll figure out how to respond to all that drama
set some guidelines for him ans ask him to strictly follow them
just let him be him and dont judge.. just set some rules
maybe but he is pletty old enough to be dating girls now

I need advise..my wife is pregnent by 1 month, is ultrasound necessary at this juncture.?

the reason is the place we are in is completely bad in terms of medical and hence need advise, we shall be travelling to india in another 1 months..so can we postpond it for a month (the ultrasound) am a bit worried has this is our first baby, please assist with good answersI need advise..my wife is pregnent by 1 month, is ultrasound necessary at this juncture.?
    Not till around 20 weeks.

My wife did not have an ultrasound till 21 weeks.I need advise..my wife is pregnent by 1 month, is ultrasound necessary at this juncture.?
most doctors only call for one ultrsound unless there is some kind of health issue. they usaly wait till later in the pregnancy so that they have a better chance of determing the sex of the baby.
no need to worry. an ultrasound at this stage is done simply done to make sure she is pregnant, and that its not a tubal pregnancy. its only in the last 10 yrs that a first trimester ultrasound became routine.
Most women dont have the first ultrasound until 18 to 20 weeks.
I had my first ultrasound at 4 weeks but that was just to check for an approximate due date, the organs wont start to develope for a couple months so you have nothing to worry about, just make sure she has an ultrasound before the 16 weeks mark (4 months) to make sure everything is ok. Good luck and congratulations!
Not necessarily. I had a ultrasound done at 5-1/2 weeks as I was on fertility drugs, and they were checking for multiples. I had lost my first baby at 6 weeks as it didn't grow. Ask the Dr if you can wait for amonth.
well, first of all the ultrasound isn't going to hurt the baby to begin with. and yes it is important, I had problems with my insurance company, and couldn't get to my doctors right away, I was finally able to at 3mths of pregnancy, whereby, they did an ultrasound, that showed I had severe placenta previa, which is dangerous, and can cause preterm labor, and the cause the cervix to have an inablity to stay closed, etc, so yes, it is very important to have one in the very beginning, and then around 20wks, and then..at the very end, make sure baby has enough fluid, not to much fluid, and to make sure baby is turned the right way.
No ultrasound is done or preffered by doctors after three months boz after this stage some structured is formed, in the first month only only a embroyic blood clot is found
when i found out that I'm pregnant, I went straight to the dr. to make sure that I don't have an ectopic pregnancy....but since I was just 4 weeks pregnant, they found a yolk sac only so the dr asked me to come back after 2 weeks to check if the baby is inside the uterus and if the baby have a heartbeat already.....i think there's no problem if you will check it after another month, but even if your wife is just a month pregnant, you still need to visit the dr so she'll get a vitamins neccessary for her pregnancy....
Unless a woman has a history of ectopic pregnancy (where the baby implants in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus), there is no reason to have an ultraound until around 12 weeks. Some women choose to have one done around 8 weeks to make sure that they aren't having an ectopic pregnancy. But it is definetaly optional at this point. I honestly don't think any place will even do them before 8 weeks (2 months) because the baby is so small and chances of miscarriage are higher if they aren't necessary.
Most Dr.s wait till 12 weeks pregnant to do an U/S. No, you don't need one at 4 weeks. There really isn't anything to see that early. Most women don't even know they are pregnant that early. You are fine to wait.
I had my first Ultrasound at 10 wks.

    1 to confirm the pregnancy

    2 gestional age

then in the end I was told I was having twins! Yep twins...

3 month old twin boys %26amp; 7 yr old
no need to go for ultrasound.first tell me how you diagnosed that she is pregnant?
no scan needed now - but medical advice from your doctor is vital.

in london, women usually book in at 12 weeks to an antenatal clinic.

they often have an USS at this point

a staging scan is performed at roughly 20weeks to ensure the pregnancy corresponds by dates and scan size.

either way, medical advice should be sought as things like dietary requirements are vital to obtain (e.g. Folic Acid supplementation for which the guidelines have recently changed)
Some people do not even know they are pregnant at a month. Most Docs do the first ultrasound at around 16 weeks, I think. I do know you would be fine to pospone it until 2 months, I was about 3.5 - 4 months with my frist one.

    Congratulations!!
Though the average is about 12 weeks for the first ultrasound, I had my first done at the 8th week. My family has a history of multiple births, and some high risks pregnancies, and the doctor was concered, so we had a u/s done early to detect if there was more than one baby, and how everything was starting to see if there was anything to be concerned about. There was also the fact that my uterus was/is apparently low-lying, and he wanted to be sure how far along I was, since he felt that I might be a week or two ahead of what we believed to make sure!

This my first baby too, and my husband asked the same thing to the doctor if it was really nessicarry (he was worried, and of course had every right to be like you!) I suggest asking your doctor if you can postpone the u/s and ask if there is any concern to have it this early.

Good luck, best wishes, and enjoy your trip!
It is understandable that you are worried, this being your first baby !

Well, ultrasounds are done in the first trimester (first 12 weeks) quite often. This helps in a number of ways:

    -confirms the pregnancy

-helps estimate gestational age of the fetus

-lets you know that its a uterine pregnancy

-tells you if its a case of multiple pregnancy ( twins, triplets etc)

-tells you if its breech (head upwards) or normal presentation

-helpful in cases where the lady has a gynaecological disorder like fibroids, pelvic mass, hydatiform mole etc

-assesses growth and development of fetus.

But a first trimester scan is NOT ESSENTIAL.Especially if your wife is healthy and there is no reason for you to fear any complications. The ideal time to have an ultrasound would be between 18 and 20 weeks. This is also called the anomaly scan as it is possible to detect any abnormality the fetus may have.It also helps in localising the placenta and monitoring fetal growth.Again, any scan done in this period will provide the information a first trimester scan does. You can also find out the sex of your child (which is illegal in most of India)

In the third trimester, scans are done usually to monitor the progress of pregnancy if there is any complication involved or for predicting weight of fetus.

If the place where you are living right now is not well equipped for an ultrasound, there is no need for you to have one done right away as long as your wife is having a normal, uneventful pregnancy. You can get one done when you come to India or else even wait till 18 weeks are up.But depending on the country you are staying in, she might need a physical fitness certificate before travelling by air which might include a mandatory ultrasound scan.

    Hope this is helpful...
Some women get ultrasounds done in the first few months of pregnancy (such as those who've lost babies before or going through IVF) but most do not. Only one is truly considered ';medically necessary'; in a normal, uneventful pregnancy and it is normally done between 18-22 weeks. At this ultrasound, the techs and doctors are able to look over all the parts of the baby to be sure they are present and working as they should (at least from what they can tell at the time). Good luck, have fun in India, and I hope this helped!
its good to have an ultrasound early because the earlier you get one the more accurate her dates will be..i would not postpone..its different with every doctor, but my doctor does an ultrasound to every woman who finds out there pregnant that same day..better to be safe than sorry..

    Advise for teaching wardrobe?

Right now at my job I can wear whatever I want. Usually I look like i popped right out of a fashion mag with my leggings and funky long shirts and fuzzy boots etc. However this look won't work anymore when I become a teacher. I'm really not all that great with fashion actually and can't seem to figure out how to dress professionally without looking like I'm 50. How can I dress professionally while remaining comfortable and stylish?Advise for teaching wardrobe?
It depends on the dress code for your district. I know of districts that have a casual friday dress code, and others that require professional dress all the time.

You absolutely can't go wrong with a nice pair of dress slacks and a matching dress coat (we call them blazers around here...don't know if that is a universal term.) You will look sharp and professional.

Just remember, you will be a teacher. Your job isn't to talk fashion, and to look fashionable, besides the students won't care anyway. Your job is to engage students' brains in learning. You don't want to look like one of the kids, or they may have a hard time respecting you.Advise for teaching wardrobe?
I'm a teacher and I wear leggings under my dresses all the time- especially in the winter when it's chilly! I guess it depends on your district, but here are my personal guidelines to what I wear, and it fits in with what the school wants:

    1. No jeans

    2. Nothing too short

    3. Nothing too low cut

    4. Nothing too tight.

For instance, today I have a shorter dress on, but I have black leggings underneath, so it's okay. I'm wearing black riding boots and a black wrap sweater over my dress since it's sleeveless and it's cold out today. It's a great winter outfit and I look very fashionable!

Now, if your district prefers you wearing dress slacks and jackets, then that's a whole other story!
You need to find clothes that suit your age. I'm assuming you are fairly young so buy knee length skirts that are flowy, bright, and colorful to liven up your appearance. Try pairing a cute blouse with a fitted jacket for a cute look. Knee length black boots go great with just about every outfit. Dresses that have floral patterns make people look young too. Good luck!

Can you Advise any decent, free virus protectors and deleters other than AVG.?

I want a virus protector that is free and deletes viruses on the computer. I already have AVG but would to try out other ones too. thankyouCan you Advise any decent, free virus protectors and deleters other than AVG.?
If you want a free anti-virus besides AVG, I recommend the following (I'll leave AVG in for comparison purposes):

    1. AVG Free

    a. A simple interface (easier to use than Avast! and Avira)

    b. Can detect about 82.82% of viruses

    Cons: low virus detection

    2. Avast!

    a. Real-time protection

    b. It has an option to delete a virus once found

    c. Can detect about 87.46% of viruses.

Cons: Too many icons and confusing user interface

    3. Avira AntiVir

    a. It can detect malware better than Avast and AVG

    b. It's cute umbrella icon

    c. Can detect about 94.26% of viruses

    Cons: A very sluggish update

Whatever you decide do not ever get Norton, it will slow down and ruin your computer. The best anti-virus you can get is Kaspersky or NOD32 (recent tests at av-comparatives.org).Can you Advise any decent, free virus protectors and deleters other than AVG.?
I don't like anti virus stuff it gives me more problem... Sometimes I think its the one giving me virus so I'll keep patronizing them.. I just use a adaware from lavasoft its free too and works really good for me. I often download movies and music and it clean up really well. Try it.
avg sucks avast 4.7 free is the best free anti-virus so delete avg and get avast . and get a-squared the best free anti-maleware program finds trojans some anti-viruses don't find and more . you have to sign up for a key for avast tho but its free . get it from avast.com and a-squared from filehippo.com

  • I believe that I am talking to a scamer but just in case where could i advise a girl to get help in moscow?

I have been emailing this girl for 3 mths she claims that she now has visa but is stranded in moscow because she needs proof of financail resoures to leave country needs $3000 to just show that she has the money and of course she'll give it back to me when she gets here (classic scam)

which I am not a fool I am not going to send but I was wondering if there was somewhere I could suggest for her to seek help just in case that she really was in serious need Like I said I do believe that she is just a scamer but I would hate it if by some far off chance she was for real and was in need thanksI believe that I am talking to a scamer but just in case where could i advise a girl to get help in moscow?
    Hey Rick,

    It's a 100% scam, don't even bother yourself.

In American Embassy in Moscow they only could ask you for financial proof at the point of making a decision on visa. And believe me $3000 would not be enough.

But in your case she got the visa already and now talks about some financial proof. Proof for what??? Once you got the visa you free to go, just buy a ticket for yourself and fly. That how it works in Russia.

So, once again don't worry, coz that's a real scam.

Be cool.I believe that I am talking to a scamer but just in case where could i advise a girl to get help in moscow?
a embassy if she is of some other nationality, otherwise let their scamming ways play on your sympathetic heart but dont part with your cash or you'll not even learn a lesson, since you know already its a sca, you'll just prove your easily taken
    its a scam...
I am Russian girl and I am sure that it's deceit. No one normal girl can ask somebody to give her money.

Dont trust anybody who will ask you about money again...

    Good luck!
I'm a Russian girl living in US. Jet is right, ones you get a visa you don't have to porve anything. It's a scam 100%.

    Sorry..
Tell her to go to the American Embassy. IF she is an American, they will help her out. You are probably correct. It is most likely a scam.
It's a scam, only this time instead of it being in Nigeria, it's in Moscow
    It's a scam.

I need advise on cars, please?

I am considering getting a new car to accomodate 2 children. Currently I am driving Mitsubishi Magna, and would like to get something more roomy, something like an SUV or people mover (7 seater). Could anyone suggest a suitable car for me? I would like the car to be spacious, fuel economical, if possible be able to be converted to LPG, dependable, but not too expensive. Any advise is appreciated.I need advise on cars, please?
a 4 cyl honda crv is an option. no 6 cyl will give good mpg. and 8 cyl engines are too bigI need advise on cars, please?
umm well your obviously american because we don't have SUVs here in Australia, so you could try a suburban... That's what we call them here. they are on diesel and they can be converted to LPG. it seats 7 people comfortably and also has heaps of boot space.
i just Chang my cars to moor economical cars, no moor America maid cars for me. i switch to a Honda is moor reliable and very economical.
Subaru has really nice SUVs that are pretty fuel efficient and comfy and are reasonably priced. Mazdas are also a great option.
a dodge caliber would probally be a good pic it depend what is to expensive? and what year are you looking for somthing new or used
What the hell's a Magna?? You're not in the US are you? We have no Magna here. Hmmm.. maybe a Volvo wagon. Those are sold everywhere.
Get a 4 door vehicle. Try the Ford Explorer.

Anyone ever come off meds for schizoaffective disorder which includes anxiety, please advise ?

I've been taking meds for schizoaffective disorder (which resembles 'schizophrenia' but not exactly) for many many years. The affective part of the word means that for at least 5 years I had major depression. I too changed my negative thinking and low self-esteem and stopped being depressed in 1997 amazingly all of a sudden. Sinse that time I have been able to stop my antidepressant medication. The schizophrenic part of the disease that is the symptoms I had have now totally disappeared. However I still have a major problem with anxiety, muscle tension or tightness which bugs me to no end. Whenever I try to stop all my meds because I think I don't need them or can live without them, anywhere from 1-6 days afterwords I get so anxious, and 'feel' so terrible emotionally that in less than 11 days I have to go back on. I have thrown up, and had terrible pain in my stomach area. I've been told by a doctor that when I stop the bad feelings I develop are withdrawl symptoms. What can I do ?Anyone ever come off meds for schizoaffective disorder which includes anxiety, please advise ?
the drug Antivan is great for anxiety!!! i don't think you can live (well) without your meds, stay on themAnyone ever come off meds for schizoaffective disorder which includes anxiety, please advise ?
If they are withdrawl symptoms, discontinuation symptoms they should settle within a week. If not your diagnosis need to be reassessed and it maybe Gen. Anxiety disorder. If you are on psychotropic medicationd targetting the symptoms of PSYCHOSIS ( Hallucinations, delusions paranoia and thought disorders) then the anti psychotics need to be taken. Schizophrenia is a chronic illness. Messing around with meds can make life worse
That does sound like withdraw symptoms. I delt with the same issues and the only thing that helped me was reading the bible, praying and talking to my groups at church. I know not everyone is into the idea of church, but there are a lot of people there who care. Good luck.
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 1994. I agree with my diagnosis based on my family history, experience of symptoms and the triggers that cause them, and the reputation of my psychiatrist.

The best advice is to determine, first, whether or not you agree with your diagnosis. If you don't you may want to quit the medication by reducing the dosage over a period of 6-8 weeks. You will most certainly experience withdrawal symptoms which include those you have already experienced. Also,1 the withdrawal symptoms seem to be the same as the labeled side effects of the medication. Sorry, but withdrawal is unaviodable.

The fact that you report the onset of symptoms when you discontinue your medication may lead your caregivers to believe that you are appropriately diagnosed. I would agree with them.

Let's then assume that your diagnosis is valid. The next step is to determine if you agree with the medication regimine you are currently perscribed. Talking to your doctor is important. Most psychiatrists will assume that everything is fine without information to the contrary. Detailing your experience with your medications in your meetings will help your caregiver monitor the effectiveness of your medications.

Once you have found a regimine of medication that works and become informed as to what to expect from the medications you may want to dive into educating yourself on ways to reduce stress which is the number one cause of symptoms, noncompliance with medication, and the cycle you apparently experience.

I consider my medications in the same light as my wife considers the medications she uses to treat diabeties. Psychoactive medication promotes the optimal function of the brain. The brain is an organ of the body, as is the liver, pancreas and kidneys... Many people must use medications indefinately to promote the optimal function of organs in an attempt to sustain the highest quality of health possible.

    Good luck.

I have bad credit and im trying to build my credit any advise would b appreciated?

Get a secured card, then use it properly. That's about it.

See http://finance.ebookorama.com/nextmilenn鈥?/a>I have bad credit and im trying to build my credit any advise would b appreciated?
There are five cardinal rules that you should follow. If you religiously follow these rules, your credit will turn around and you'll be a very attractive customer to future lenders.

    (1) Pay your bills on time. Everytime you pay a loan or credit card 30 days or more past due, it goes on your credit report and remains there for 7 years.

    (2) If you can't pay off what you charge on your credit card within a month - don't charge it. It is real easy to get carried away and wrack up a huge bill - especially when you see that big screen TV and the ';no interest for 12 months'; teaser rate. People fall for this all the time. The retailer knows 95% of customers won't be able to pay off the TV within the 12 months. That's why they can afford to offer no interest for 12 months.

    (3) Keep your lines of credit opened. You should only rarely close out credit cards and lines of credit - especially your oldest ones. The age of your lines of credit are calculated into your credit score. The older, the more valuable.

    (4) Keep your credit/debit ratios low. This is the amount of credit you have available versus how much debt you have. Lenders like to see this number at 30 percent or lower. Meaning, if you have $5,000 worth of credit, don't carry more than $1,500 in debt. Even a person who has never had a late payment will see their credit score wrecked by having their ratios too high.

    (5) If you're having trouble paying your bills, be proactive and do something about it. Don't be afraid to get in touch with a credit counseler and ask for help. Get your loans refinanced if possible, settle debts, consolidate, etc. Don't wait until you get a court summons or a foreclosure notice. A settled debt looks a lot nicer on a credit report than a bankruptcy or foreclosure.

Good luck! :)I have bad credit and im trying to build my credit any advise would b appreciated?

You'd get booked on three counts:

    1. racial discrimination (to Michael Jackson);

    2. anti Smoking laws (no warning on his packet);

    3. physical discrimination of ';the Little people'; (basically Irish).

Worth a try though. Think of all the publicity the court case would get.

I wondered if anyone could advise me please,i owe 3 thousand on my credit card, the same on a loan, also my?

husband has the same debt on his,the repayments each month between us are quite high, ive been thinking about consoltating it all on one loan,as it would work out cheaper than the monthly payments we pay,do u think thats a good idea? i would be really gratefull 4 any advice on this please, thankyouI wondered if anyone could advise me please,i owe 3 thousand on my credit card, the same on a loan, also my?
The whole idea of consolidating, is to ultimately have only one monthly payment at a low interest rate.

You have to find the lowest rate with no hidden extra fees.

You should also see that there is no catch, like moving your whole mortgage to the consolidator, this is not recommended if your mortgage is already in good hands.

You should also consult with your mortgage financial institution to see if you can increase your home loan. You can use the funds to pay the other debts. If your home has gone up in value since the date of purchase then you can request a home valuation and assessment, therefore they may give you better options, whether to take out another loan or consolidate with your existing home loan.I wondered if anyone could advise me please,i owe 3 thousand on my credit card, the same on a loan, also my?
What pathetic answers from those 2. 'Mrs Monica James' is an illegal loan shark, and wtf are you talking about Wham for? Anyway, if you own a house you can get a secured loan pretty easily for that amount. But you need to shop around for the LOWEST rate you can find, I'd say call the debt line or someone for free advice first because if u get a long loan you'll be in a worse situation possibly. If you miss payments etc. on the credit card n loan u already have and don't own any property you'll struggle for a loan like I am. I've got 拢5k credit debt and can't get a loan without disgustingly high apr, so I put my effort into finding a better paid job which i now have and i'm paying off my cards i already have one by one and trying to make sure i don't go over my limit etc. because when ur credit score gets better - it only takes a few months, u'll be considered for lower rate unsecured loans which are the best thing if u can get them. DON'T apply for loads of loans as this shows on ur credit file too. Good Luck
Don't consolidate just for the sake of consolidating. Make sure that the new all-in-one loan you get has a lower rate. Otherwise, you are just cutting one bigger check instead of many smaller ones. This won't help your cause. Also, avoid getting a home equity loan if you can. You would be taking unsecured debt and changing it into secured debt. You don't want to put your house at risk if you don't have to. Personal loans are hard to come by at banks these days because of the credit crisis. If I were you, then I would look into something like P2P lending. This is were you can get a personal loan at a great rate to consolidate your debt. Here is the site that I use, https://secure.lendingclub.com/landing.a鈥?/a> . It is free to sign up and get a rate quote, so you don't have to worry about a catch. If you sign up, let me know your username and I will try to help fund your loan.

    Good Luck.

I need a lil legal advise, i went to a foot doctor (a well known doc) wat happen was he?

so he gave me the bunion shot .but i dont hav a bunion anyway he gave me the shot and now my foot always hurts when it only use to hurt when i wore boots . so do i sue him ? can i sue him ? and for wat and how much ?I need a lil legal advise, i went to a foot doctor (a well known doc) wat happen was he?
Talk to a real lawyer or a friend who is a lawyer. Regular ppl on Yahoo! don't necessarily know about this, but I would think that possibly you could sue him for malpractice. It sounds like he has caused unnecessary pain, but you really should see a lawyer.

Lastly, what does this question have to do with woman's health? This sounds like it would go under some other topic relating to legal advice rather then health specifically, let alone woman's health.

Which car do you advise to buy and why-Honda city or civic?

They are cars from different segments... Anyways, Honda Civic is far better!Which car do you advise to buy and why-Honda city or civic?
    Hi,

when u compare these models milege is not the factor. when u compare the overall performance and comfirt u can always go for civicWhich car do you advise to buy and why-Honda city or civic?
Civic is the classic model and there is so many makes and types I would go with the civic in both the price and performance categories..... I would recommend the Civic SI model anywhere from 00 to current.... excellent gas mileage, good amount of top end power and just fun to drive.
honda civic is much better then city

but city has gud resale value it s value is just down only 20to 25% in 2 to 3years

but mostly other cars value come down to 40% + you can campare its resale value to maruti

which has the highest resale value in india
Both the cars will have new looks and variants very soon , check thout this site

  • The girl is 13 and she wants a baby? What's advise wud u give to her? : : : :ramadan.?

This is the truth. The girl is 13 and she wants a baby? What's advise wud u give to her? : : : :ramadan.?
im 32.. female.. and to be honest.. all young girls go through a stage in their lives where they think.. ';think'; they want to have babies.. I dont know why..

its not the sexual encounter, or marriage they are after, its also not the whole 9 months gestation or birthing the baby.. they just want a baby to magically plop down into their laps..

they are too immature emotionally to even begin to handle motherhood and all this entails.. but yes.. all girls do go through this.. I dont know if its the changing hormones during this age.. (from 12-18, upon puberty) or what..

Just try to talk to the girl and give her a reality check.. Let her watch Jon %26amp; Kate plus 8 for just one episode and she'll change her mind..

Babies are the end of your innocence and childhood as a girl, once you become a mother.. You no longer sleep, rest and depression can hit fast.. its a major responsibility to handle a tiny living being.. You are the soul provider for this tiny baby.. you have to feed it, clean, it love it, nurture it.. 24/7.. YOU dont get time off.. your life as you knew it is over, ';over';.. seriously..

any girl these days shouldnt think about it till at least 22/23 years and above..The girl is 13 and she wants a baby? What's advise wud u give to her? : : : :ramadan.?
Well, first I'd want to know why, and the advice would differ depending on the reason.

Well if she thinks it's cool to have a baby, show her it isn't.

Let her babysit [with a supervisor] a baby for a few hours, she should realise the complications of it all, the nappy changing, the constant smell of vomit, the crying. Hopefully it'll open her eyes a bit to what having a baby of her own is like.
Oh, well, you know what her problem is, you gave it in another answer. She is deprived of sex, that is what she really wants. She does not want a baby or the unconditional love they represent, she only wants sex.

I thought I woudl try to give an answer from your own mentality so you might understand it. Of course, an answer for someone who doesn't think with a filthy mind that a man is only interested in sex and can have no love for his wife, would be that she is a natural female who intuitively wants a child. Wow, that makes her, ummm, perfectly normal.

Encourage her to wait a few years, but there is nothing wrong for her to marry at 16 or 17 and start her family unless of course people want to throw in a bunch of unimportant and wrong priority things like the husband has to ';have a good job'; and ';be from a good family'; and ridiculous garbage like that. I assume her body is ready at her age, but a few more years of maturity will help the situation, but no need to wait until she is in her 20s and has a college degree and career (which won't leave her times to raise her kids) or has to have a perfect husband (perfect by her parents eyes, not hers). That's not what she wants our of life, she wants to be a mom first, good for her. Hopefully others will not discourage this too much.
Take her to the nearest hospital or birth center and let her see how babies are born. I am sure you could find someone that would let her watch. After seeing that if she still wants a baby let her know what it cost to raise 1 child per day for the next 18 years plus college. Tell her when she can do that... she can have one. In the mean time get her a pet and make her completely responsible for everything for it, from buying food to cleaning up behind it and bathing it. If she still wants a baby after all that LOCK her in her room and put bars on the window.
well i guess tell her that she has to wait until she's married. tell her when having a baby at that age she no longer would have a childhood cause she now to think about her babies childhood and future. tell her babies are for real. if she still wants a baby, go out and buy her ';baby alive';.
I presume this is the same girl u saw making out with a 15 yr old.in the family car. Didn't u have a talk with her sis and parents? She must be pregnant now.

Tell her that she will no longer be free of worries. Depression will set in at this early age and it is very very painful 2 give birth and breast feeding is even worse pain. She will have 2 clean poop of the baby 10 times a day. Clean puke 20 times a day. The baby will cry her brains out.

SCARE HER. But whatever I said is true.
There isn't much advice you can give her. If she wants one badly enough she'll get pregnant. Sad. Her parents need to take control of this situation.

You're only 20? I would have thought you to be older, like 30.
tell her that if she has one its going to be like shitting an human being out her ***** which is going to hert like a *****........then u get pissed on because shes going to be such a shitty mom that she didnt potty train the child......or say she can have sex as long as she wears a condom
Finish school first, go to University, find a man then get married, then have a baby. Why would u want to have a baby at 13? People suppose to have fun during teenagers.
Tell her that this is not your age. Getting a baby is a process and when you will marry in the perfect age then you can have. You are very young and young people dont get baby.
A baby is not a toy

that baby needs love and care

You can just about look after yourself

what about when you want to go out

who is gonna look after your child?

    and some other crap
    Grow up!

    There are toys..

she can do what she wants it is her choice no-one can stop her she just needs to think about the consequences
Tell her it is against the law to have a baby at that tender age.
First thing i would ask her is who is going to support her and the baby?
    wait more 10 years.

    what you mean by ramadan?????
do want a tight slap!!!! you noe what i mean ill show her.

    whose bp?
    Get her a puppy.
I'd tell her go right ahead if you're trying to ruin your life.
Volunteer in a day care program 24/7, and NEVER take a day off.
I'll try to arrange her Nikah
    wow...:O just wtf..ohhh emm geeee
She can have one......in about 10 years
    tell her to get married
    its just sick
I'd tell her parents....they need to know this child needs help.
I wanted to look after babies when I was about 9. I've always liked babies but I never thought I want to have a baby now.

Maybe if she babysat a few babies she would understand that it's not easy and that she isn't ready for it.

You could get her one of those dolls that are like babies. I don't know what they're called but I seen it on a tv programme once where a teen wanted to have a baby so they gave her one of those dolls that are exactly like babies. It just cries in the middle of the night, wants a feed and I think you have to change it's nappy too.

In the end the girl was so mad because she couldn't handle it and she threw the doll against the wall.

Will some kind Chinese-American, or Chinese-Englishman (or woman) please advise?

A Chinese friend of mine plans to study in America. His name is Deng Kao (pronounced Dung Cow).

In the West will he be obliged to turn it round and be called Kao Deng? Will some kind Chinese-American, or Chinese-Englishman (or woman) please advise?
yes--in China, your last name goes in front of your first. Will some kind Chinese-American, or Chinese-Englishman (or woman) please advise?
No. In Chinese the family name always precedes the given name';Deng'; (family surname - like Deng Xiao Ping the former Chinese leader) the second name ';Kao'; (this should be ';Gao'; in pinyin. Even if he adopts a christian name it should read John Deng.

By the way it is NOT pronounced ';dung';; correct pinyin would be: 邓 dèng 高 gāo

For the unitiated, the temptation is there to poke fun of foreign names due to ignorance of the language/culture.

Hi, I'm italian and i'm going to come to U.K. in September, have you got some advise to me?

I want to be an actor and so i want to go to London to learn english and after attend a Drama school.Hi, I'm italian and i'm going to come to U.K. in September, have you got some advise to me?
Find somewhere to stay before you arrive otherwise you might end up homeless. Flats in London are really expensive as is travel and living costs. A decent 1 bed flat will cost you around 拢900 a month. A single bus journey is 拢2. A bottle of beer is around 拢3.65 in a bar and a glass of wine around 拢5 for a large one. You'll want to find work to support yourself while you are attending college. I would make sure you have a place at the college before you move here as these courses are heavily oversubscribed. There are drama colleges all over the UK so you may not want to rely on being in London too much.Hi, I'm italian and i'm going to come to U.K. in September, have you got some advise to me?
I used to work in a restaurant with a kitchen full of Italians. I dont want to generalise you but try not go on about how much English people drink, how dirty our towns are compared to Italy and generally be less domaneering.
Do not listen to anyone who promises you a quick route to stardom and do not pay for any agencies offering you guaranteed work. Just study get your qualifications and actors union card, only then try for acting work.
    I really like Italy

and you can answer my question MORE CAREFULLY not saying what you love , but ANSWERING MY QUESTION.
be nice dont cause trouble and dont preach about how we do things differently otherwise its like asking for a kicking. good luck anyway.
good drama schools in london are hard to get into - do research and make sure you have what they're looking for

Yes!. Accounts are deactivated and removed after four months of no use.

When an account is deactivated, you won't be able to access it, regardless of whether or not email has been received in the account during that time.

And sorry, but we can't retrieve any of the information that was formerly stored in it.

But you can try to log in. By luck your account can still be recovered if still not taken away by other user.
