I am in two minds here, i have been waiting for my hairdresser friend to tell me when she is free to cut my hair (at her house for half the price) but ive been waiting a month now...Shall i just book in another salon and pay double the price or wait for her to eventually say she can do it!!! arrgghhCan someone advise me what to do about my hair..?
Call her up and ask her if you can schedule something for this week or next and if she can't, tell her you're just going to get it done at a salon and you don't want to bother her too much. Can someone advise me what to do about my hair..?
Just go ahead and make an appointment to have your hair cut at a regular salon. You should be in control of when you get your hair attended to.
If you're like me, price dosen't really matter if it's something you really want or need done...Get another salon to do it or if anything, just book an appointment with her where she works...if you're gonna pay full pop, might as well be with someone you know!
I cut my friend's and family's hair at home too. I'm not always available when they need this done though.
If you call your friend and let her know that you'd love to wait for her but you really need to get your hair cut and ask her if this time it would be more convenient for her to go to the salon, then you won't be left waiting and she will have the opportunity to tell you that she just doesn't have time right now, or better yet, that tomorrow night would be perfect!
If you want a discount you need to wait....but maybe if you just call and remind her or pay her a surprise visit then strike up the conversation about your hair. She may have forgotten too.
Otherwise-go somewhere else.
I think you're hair looks lovely as it is, but perhaps a bubble perm might ';jazz it up'; a bit?
Obviously you must be getting tired of waiting around, I would go ahead and go to another salon. If your hairdresser gets upset; just tell her obviously your business is not important to her, or she would have found time to cut your hair.
