I'm remodeling my bathroom. I'm installing porceline tile around the tub and entire floor (matching) Right now Ive got the new backer board installed around the tub and floor. My question is, what do you use to fill the seam lines of the backer board? Do you use thinset mortar, with fiber tape? Or do you just fill it with mortar? What about the inside corners? One inside corner of my tub has a good 1/3 inch gap. Any help is greatly appreciated.
RexTub surround, need advise, thanks!?
thinset with the fiber tape is the way to go. You have it right....Tub surround, need advise, thanks!?
Providing the backer board is concrete, thinset and fiber tape will work well
