What is your advise on the best way to get a job?

i recently started looking for a job after many failed attemps and i just wanted advise on filling out applications, going through interviews and making sure i get that call backWhat is your advise on the best way to get a job?
Be aggressive, positive, and pro-active. Don't just fill out the applications. Come with a complete, neat resume. Be neat. Be positive. Be energetic. Smile. And when you turn in an application, wait a week and CALL THEM. Let them know how interested you are. Let them know you are thinking of THEM. If they have not finished the process and passed you over, then call them again later. This is one of the biggest mistakes people do. They drop off an app or resume, and then disappear. Meanwhile, someone else is being pro-active, calling, and making themselves known. THOSE people get the jobs.
